It was so much fun to stay up all night (i slept for 3 hours haha)... but I shiny hunted for lugia for 6 hours and then raikou for 15... it was a tough one :p Thanks for the shoutout to our dedication :)

No, with shiny charm it is 1 in 100 for each Pokémon, so effectively one in 25 for a shiny in general

Watching the stream or the video is a very difficult choice to do...

While I was watching the video I was just wondering why they didn’t shiny hunt Octillery in Legends Arceus. They literally made that hunt harder on themselves for no reason.

thanks for the shiny luck, pat! i was shiny hunting in legends: arceus all day today with no luck and then took a break, then started again as i started watching this video and the reaction to the 24 hours to catch every kanto mon video and while watching both of those i found 4 shinies (bronzong, drapion, lickitung and glameow (the latter being a shiny i once lost about half a year ago because i accidentally closed the game without saving after catching it))

If it’s any consolation Pat, my first shiny encounter was full odds (besides shiny charm) Sentret while shiny hunting Applin in Apple grove. That’s when I learned you couldn’t auto battle them. Needless to say I false swiped in prep and he double edged.

I watched both you and PM7 at the same time, making sure to keep the time on both your streams at the same time.

A couple days before this came out, I actually found a random shiny marill and named him Golden Bonnie. So I was a little extra happy to see them get the marill.

Only recently came to watch, can't wait to see how my favourite gen turned put. I still have my first Torchic from 20is years ago that I traded to Pokémon Sun.

On your over 18,000 for Celebi.. my roommate hunted galarian zigzagoon in sword, and it took him over 25,000 encounters.

yes indeed chat could use some new jokes and its rare that when the one guy that says you missed a shiny is right (most of the time i like to think they try to make that joke but then by accident they are actually right)

It's crazy to me that Yugz got shiny Articuno from USUM in the first one, and then got shiny Suicune from USUM for this one, and both have pale blue shinies

idk, they’re kinda similar, but i definitely think Shady and the ref have some distinct differences also

Im still kinda surprised even with the worse odds nobody went for the legendaries in ultra wormholes.

people did, suicune was found in wormholes and although it wasnt shown in the video there were a few others going for other legends in wormholes as well

My first shiny was a full odds solrock in a b2 nuzlocke actually as my first encounter... I named him solgaleo cause it was during gen7 hype season. I'm not a shiny hunter but the sheer amout of hours I had in pokemon I have encountered it felt a bit ridiculous I had never captured ones in my years of playing be4 that.

Without the insanely easy and high shiny odds of LA and SV you would need to have like 3 people hunting for each pokemon if you wanted to have a chance at completing a challenge like this Just goes to show how easy shiny hunting in those games have become I literally got 4 full boxes of shinies in SV in less than 2 months Whereas in SwSh, i dont even have 3 boxes and ive been playing that for over 3 years

I don't think it's a joke, I think Stream Chats are generally pretty dumb and should be simply ignored. I don't even open chat in streams.
