This is why replay has been a phenomenal improvement to help bring this game to a new generation of people. How many calls would have been missed that would have gone missed over the season.

Heres the thing, after our 109 streak (yes im including the postseason) Posey wanted to be with his family but he still has ties to SF being amongst the ownership group. We had Casali and Bart left. Casali was on and off IL along with Belt, Longo and Wade Jr. Mind you they all tried to fight through it but Gabe couldn’t keep throwing Casali out there and he kept getting beaten up so they had no choice but to trade him. Then Joey Bart had stepped in and he had a complete lack of effort at bat plus defensive plays were low. There were glimpses of getting basehits and a few runs and pickoffs but he wasn’t consistent enough. Wynns came in and was doing better than him. Now here we are on a good streak over .500 and Bart has been on a downhill spiral. Sabol come in and shows some effort behind the plate and is knocking a few hits in and we win those games. Bart however doesn’t seem to have the same impact. Now we have Bailey with Sabol as backup and Bart has been at Sac for two months. He let that Buster Posey stuff get to his head and tried to fill his shoes but it didn’t work. Bart had plenty of time to redeem himself but none prevailed.
