The new strap looks beautiful on the watch! Great choice and nice that they make an XL strap. Such a great looking watch as well, not a Patek that you see a lot which I like. Also looks great on wrist. Hope you have a good one Jimmy!

I have a #question ? Does Patek Philip have Vegan leather strap ?

I feel your pain with the strap lengths...I've had to get a lot of custom straps made over the years. Lug width is always a consideration when i buy a new watch as I don't want to have to buy a new rotation of straps.

Haha yeah I get it! And Patek has to have that weird 21 mm lug width

I've been eyeing this piece for 2 years now. And with the grey market pulling back, I'm really tempted to pull the trigger. Nice strap but I saw a video on KZread of someone putting it on a red alligator strap and man it was gorgeous

Now might be one heck of a good time to go for it! This one has "future classic" written all over it. Back in the summer, a good pre-owned example with full set B&P was going for as much as 50K. But right now (from what I've heard) you might buy the same watch pre-owned for around retail price! And when one of Patek's so-called "rarities" (such as this reference) dips to at/below retail on the grey market, I reckon the odds are great that it'll get discontinued before _too_ long! And getting discontinued is, of course, good news for the owner of any restricted Patek - because that generally adds 10K to the value pretty quickly!🥳 But it's a little down the road, in 15 or 20 years time from now, when this one will really come into its own as a collector's piece, IMHO.

@@j.burgess4459 yeah it's nearby retail price. Once it does, I might have to pull the trigger. From a trusted reseller of course. I agree it will be a future collectible

Very nice I also prefer the casual looking strap. Do you not get a different choice of straps at point of sale. Interesting these patek videos 👌🏻

One could also use the Calatrava steel folding clasp from the new 5935a on this one.

Congratulations Jimmy. The only two straps you need. My AD also sold me (quite cheaply) the spring bars and buckle to make it easier to swap over. Have a word when you are next in there picking up your 5712 🤣. Have a great weekend friend 👍
