Whenever the chap from Revolution is on camera he is always looking at other people off camera, it’s really distracting, please, when your on camera stay focused on the subject or person you are reporting about.

"I think they should both take my place" pretty much sums it up! Not so much an interview as two presumptuous journalists trying to tell Mr. Stern his business. Pity they can't just can't take advantage of the chance to absorb his unique insights, instead of continually distracting with their own observations. I’m glad Thierry enjoys rappers are collecting Patek. Reminded me when in 2006 the CEO of Cristal champagne was not so enthusiastic that the rapper folk enjoyed their products so Jay-Z and others boycotted the brand and out came ace of spades champagne 🍾

I will never understand the Hype & Price of Patek. Exclusivity doesn't represent the whole of humanity it's the polar opposite. If you make it more obtainable to all of humanity you will in rich all, instead of the few ungratefuls!

I can’t agree, what price is considered obtainable? $20k, $10k, $5k? I can’t imagine a PP sub $1000. So at any price point your argument will still stand because there will always be a lot of people that can’t afford it. PP will need to cut corners for the low price alternatives, but will you be happy with a no frills Patek Sistem 51? PP is one of the best for the collectors that want the best and there are a ton of other brands for those that want value. PP is a high end market, I’m in the middle market so you need to know and accept where you are but at any level you should always strive and seek out the best at the level you are in and don’t compromise. It’s not that you can’t afford it, but you just don’t want it bad enough or you don’t see yourself with one. I have been told I could have had a few Pateks for what I have currently in my collection but I don’t want that yet. I enjoy the watches I have and don’t see how a few Pateks can give me the same level of joy today. Tomorrow, maybe? But I’ll make the move when I feel like I’m ready. I don’t think I will get to the level of the great independents like a Smiths or a MBF so a Patek would be symbolic of my endgame and I don’t want to get there yet. Lol
