Honestly, Patapon 2 and 3 would've been a hell of a lot cooler if the base building aspect (and upgrading of said buildings) was properly established in 1.

That will be Extremely Cute, if they added a Village Upgrades or Building Mechanics and see the Patapon walking around, Etc. 🥰 👁️‍🗨️ But suddenly they cut it in the final game. 😢

Since ratatan has been announced... you can tell some of the missing features here could be implemented on that game.

I would have never imagined that I would someday be playing new version of the Patapon series :)

It's so interesting seeing all of the changes between the old and final version of the game, now I was wandering if you'll do the same video, but for Patapon 2 and Patapon 3. Also, you forgot to mention that Gong has an unused attack that can be seen in one debug mission, it's a blaze wall that has some range and deals some damage. But, besides that, great video ;)

I was watching the mini game of the miner patapon when my Dad video called my Mom. His first response was “someone is playing PSP” He didn’t outright said Patapon but the fact he recognized it as PSP game is amazing lol

the Miner game is so cool, I wish it was in the final game

I feel like the musketeer patapon idea was reused and redesigned in patapon 2, his design is incredibly similar to the instructor patapon, perhaps his purpose would've been collecting kaching easier. The lumberjack patapon would've replaced the tree minigame imo, seemed like that was its purpose- Has for gates and the builder im not quite sure, i get the hint the builder wouldve been a minigame to help upgrade weapons/equipment or he was of use to upgrade patapolis to prevent invasions since in patapon 1 if youd take to long for the next level or anything a zigoton fortress would be built and had to obligatory be defeated so you could advance in the game.

Damn the miner minigame looks like hell Locoroco 2 loading screen Update: i think Gate, the horseman probably could be a beta version of the hero in P2. Gate as name, makes me think about the little patapon prisoned by Gong. Maybe in the first concepts this guy could have been a pseudo hero on a horse that you could save from gong (and maybe there wouldn't be any kibapons) EDIT: 11:50 lol ok. Bro said that 22:03 : a little treat about voices: if i don't remember wrong Patapon team had no money to produce sounds, so one of the workers brought his son to record patapon voices. Lol (idk if this info was provided by this YT channel or anotger one sorry)
