The time has come, Patapon is back. However, it will be a new game far from the original trilogy. It will be strongly inspired by those titles, as it will be in charge of the original creators. In addition, it will have the participation of new developers and a new art style in this project.

You know, I'm really worried about this emphasis on multiplayer continuing. It already made Patapon 3 pretty bad. I was hoping for a return to a more singleplayer style experience.

@@gbhgfcncfgnjchnjm The main concern most people have is the level grind and the fact that bosses in patapon 3 are waaay different than those from patapon 1 and 2. All of this happened due to the emphasis on multiplayer. (Also Chin is dead god save hatapon moments). BUT NEW GAME LETS GOOOOOO

they're gonna learn from what happened in patapon 3 obviously. The game should be soloable and not designed for multiplayer. At least for the whole story

and thus, the kickstarter gladly carries us with a full admission that online is a stretch goal and singleplayer is the focus, according to faq. Makes me wonder why that super fever mechanic is a thing though, considering *you need everyone to be in fever (as in more than you) to activate it* according to that same kickstarter's story.
I hope they make a Don-Chaka altar styled minigame
