Aw you're the best, thanks so much for all the love! As for books, I've been more into fiction lately. I just finished listening to the Hail Mary Project (really good), am currently listneing to The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August (I'll be honest, it hasn't sucked me in yet but I'll keep trying), and I just finished reading the physical copy of Fourth Wing (better than I thought it would be!) 🤓

This video just made me and my husband's night. All the words you used like "go for a swim" and "alchemy", etc. It was AWESOME. We love you so much! We had fun watching this and you made us laugh SO much with the bloopers! He also used to work at olive garden and is SO PUMPED about the carbonara. He said, "Yes please, please! about that one and the gnocchi one!" Thank you for your videos!! I tell people about you all the time. Today I told someone at the market and last week a coworker. :)

Love the app! This is the only channel I‘ve turned notifications on for. I get so excited whenever I see that notification number on. I rough chop hazelnuts and mix it with nutritional yeast for a vegan Parmesan substitute. Yum!

Never thought about the cornstarch in cold liquid, but ever since childhood every my mum or dad had to thicken a sauce and they used cornstarch, they would always first dissolve it in cold water and then pour it in the hot sauce! Makes sense :)

Great video as always. I dont cook gnoccis at all, but put them straight into the frying pan. Works well. Also I find the balck salt is loosing its egg flavour when heated so best used after cooking.

For the starch - you can akso make a starch-slurry (mix the starch with enough cold water so it becomes a thicker liquid) and then addit in to hot sauces. The way you ca control your desred thickness of your sauce a little better.

I made the plant based carbonara substituting for gf since him celiac and I think I messed it up a little but my blender helped me and it was pretty solid it was a 8.5 out of ten I dint have bits to chew

It took me 3 shops including Amazon to get all the ingreds plus tofu press together (will have to make my own gnocchi) but made the carbonara plus home made vegan parmesan for my adult daughter yesterday & she absolutely loved it (& she’s VERY particular), gave it a 10/10 & is on her way to Wales with a portion for later today. Will have to make another next week so the gnocchi might have to wait! Thank you so much. I spotted the matcha white chocolate cookie recipe, have ordered organic green matcha powder, & can’t wait to make those! ❤

@@Mukanimou kala namak! It has a sulphurous slightly eggy taste & is a rather pretty browny pink. I like it & it will last for ages. I bought mine on Amazon ❤️
