A boy in the 8th grade in our school died from cancer and students of his class and friends of him told me that he constantly listened to this song 30 minutes before he died in a hospital. 2 Years later when the 10th grade of his class left the school, a girl, his best friend, sang THIS song, HIS favourite song, in front of 600 ppl and made a speech. At the first sentence she tried to say, she cried. It was heartbreaking. I'm still crying thinking about him even tho i didnt know him. I'm happy i wrote R.I.P. on a letter for him when i got in the 7th grade.

Exactly, your real home is where your family exist, sadly social media keep many people far than their family, we know the real meaning of family just after loss them.
I heard this song when I come back to my country, after years of working abroad and stucking by Corona in Japan. I proposed to my wife right after the quarantine and the next 3 days is my wedding.

They say home is where the heart is but my heart is wild and free So am I homeless Or just heartless? Did I start this? Did it start me? They say fear is for the brave For cowards never stare it in the eye So am I fearless to be fearful Does it take courage to learn how to cry So many winding roads So many miles to go and oh.. Oh they say love is for the loving Without love maybe nothing is real So am I loveless or do I just love less Oh since love left I have nothing left to fear So many winding roads So many miles to go When I start feeling sick of it all It helps to remember I'm a brick in a wall who runs down from the hillside to the sea when I start feeling that it's gone too far I lie on my back and stare up at the stars I wonder if they're staring back at me oh when I start feeling sick of it all It helps to remember I'm a brick in a wall who runs down from the hillside to the sea when I start feeling that it's gone too far I lie on my back and stare up at the stars I wonder if they're staring back at me

Every passenger fan is messed up one way or another.. We all have a story to tell.. That's why it's easy to relate easily to his songs. It brings out the deep down forgotten memories, good or bad, and tear us up. Such a good feeling
@cozyalcoser3094

This isn't one of those stories, but it is a fun Passenger story. At my middle school graduation last year I made a slideshow about our field trip to New York, and I used the passenger song Let me dream a while because it came out during the trip and i thought that it went well with the presentation. I even set up most of the slides to fit well with the lyrics. So at the graduation, when my slideshow plays, I was super proud and excited to see the nostalgia that song brought out. But, the guy controlling the audio put it to his headphones, and rather than stop the slideshow and restart it with music, I had to sit through the whole thing in front of hundreds of people as a silent presentation played, and it wasn't good at all. I was completely crushed, and not one person of all the speakers that talked after me, staff or student, actually pointed out that there was supposed to be any sound, so it looked really bad on my part. That memory isn't exactly relatable to his songs, but it was still painful

First time hearing this song even though I've listened to Passenger quite a few times. I like it. And guys, don't listen to people telling you to think about what others may be going through (death, homeless, sickness) when you have a heartbreak or something "less" important. You have the right to feel sad. You have the right to be selfish. There is no real 'worst' or 'better'. Everything is perspective. You'll feel for others later, but for now, if you are sad because someone broke your heart, just feel it. Cry. Think about it. Just take the time to heal, so that you'll be able to think about others later and be genuine about it.

Accidentally heard this song in spotify years back while i was travelling far from home for the first time all alone since then till now it has my heart ❤ ps:anyone in 2024?
I remember listening to this for the first time two years ago from one of Mike's busking videos..and those were tough times, times when I really felt like I was trapped in a shithole. It was one of the songs that helped me through those times. Mike may never know how his songs sort of saved my life back then. Listening to a proper studio recording of this song just makes me feel something I cannot describe..sort of a mixture of thankfulness and just wow I can't believe that those days are over and here I am, and here's Mike, releasing a new album with this song in it. Too bad I won't be able to see him live in January.

I spend the same, was very ill and my mom cried at night not knowing the illness I had and wanted to get it cut with the pain I felt when listening to cry my mother and one day to leave the player youtube automatic started the video for "Whispers" and hear once I rough for my favorite song again throughout the music world, I remember the day I heard the repeated all day so that it can translate and interpret in Spanish in the most correct as possible, I'm from Mexico. And when they finally reach the most accurate translation of astonishment, it seems that "Whispers" wrote it for me, or restyled in me, to finally give me a tip "Cuz all I need to whispers in a world the only Shoults" and listening to "Home" I felt exactly the same as listening to "Whispers." when translated "Home" to Spanish I thought "hell is just how I feel and how I think." It seems that we are the same person. But no, there are simply people who have gone through the same level of pain and one of them is Mike. And the music of Mike works to help and understand that we are not alone, that we are not the only ones. I will send a message to him mail and I do not care if him never answer, but I hope him read it and know that saved my life

One song,so many memories. I used to listen to this song when I was young and working in foreign country thousand miles away from home to provide for my family. But as the years pass by I realize that HOME is where the HEART is! Home isn't just a building.
Man the lyrics are too deep ..... Words are not enough to applaud its depth of inner meaning 🌠🌠
If your watching this 2023, I love you all fans of 'passenger' home is the best ❤️
They say love, is for the loving, without love, baby nothing is real. So am I loveless, do I just love less? Oh, since love left, I have nothing left to feel. Oh my lord this made me cry

Song's been ringing in the back of my mind all day. I'm glad I finally found it. Those words are deep......
When I listen to this song I remember my mother when she was alive, and she tells me don't forget me I want to see you even once a month I know your work requires you to be away from me but I miss you always. After she left me, I realized that I had a light in the sky that went out.
This song makes me emotionally every time. CAN'T WAIT TO CRY IN FRONT OF A LIVE AUDIENCE AT YOUR TOUR!
There's something mistical bout this dude,,his voice was so unique..deep and far.love your voice dude.love from indonesia

So many years along the line and I'm still here, endlessly soiling myself in Passenger's words.
If you are watching this 2023 you are not alone
This is the song I let people listen when they say current day music is crap. From now on you're my proof that good music still exists These lyrics are up there with the best. I hate comparing, but this stacks up to the bigger names.

My second choice is WHEN WE WERE YOUNG..."Riding to New York" is just on another level...how can anybody not equate with the idea of going across America to find the ones you love to tell them you may have got some things wrong...and you wanna right your wrongs before leaving..our beautiful blue planet? I think i've played "Riding to New York" about a thousand times...still not bored of it.

From the Philippines , i really love this song I can't explain it but one thing for sure this song made me cry 😭
When she said bye and left forever, I realised how much I love her and how I'm never gonna be able to feel love anymore. All I want is to hear her voice once before I'm gone.
Much love from Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪, passenger will be the greatest poet and artist the world is yet to see. The song calms my heart and soul when am stressed, big love from Kenya to passenger and everyone else who's reading the comments.
You are never alone. We have been here for each other all this time. Ask why now do we know this? Timing is everything

This is one of my most favorite songs and that place on the picture is my most favorite place on Iceland. I slept there in tent few times. Pure magic. Can't believe that Michael was there and decided to use this photo. Love you man.

So many winding roads So many miles to go life is a journey. life is what you make it to be Passenger Your A Top Man. Keep up
There is something very special about this song that it invokes sadness and happiness all in one , since moving from England to new Zealand 15 years ago ! Some days all I really want to go is HOME ❤
It’s 2023. It’s been six years and every time I listen to this song it takes me back 🏡 I’m so far away from home 💔
Can't give enough thumbs ups or write enough comments to show how much I like this song nor to show my appreciation for you who rides along with me in my life, Passenger.
2010 to 2020 marked 10 years of listening to passengers remarkable music. Keep it up buddy.
Now i got actual meaning of this masterpiece 💔 feeling lonely
If you have come here, you're not alone my friend, we all have our own journey and it comes with a happy ending, I know it's dark and bleek right now, I am right there with you at this moment and we can both come out of it being better versions of ourselves. You have got this.
