This type of beer always makes me a bit afraid as so much can go wrong. Cardamom as well, I used it once and never again, it's was *very intense* so less is more but none is better 😂. I actually have some of the Philly sour yeast but not used it yet. Still not sure what I'm going to do with it to be honest.
@Schnuz3 жыл бұрын
You can have a sweet lasse or a salt lasse, I always went for the sweet lasse after a Chicken Tikka Masala as it was a nice finish to the evening 👍, I'm assuming you could do the same with the beer 🤔. Great video even though I started watching with greater anticipation and cap in hand, so to speak, due to misreading the title 🤭 😉 🤣 . Waiting with bated breath for the next instalment and I sincerely hope that Heather is back up and helping out very soon - you obviously need it 😉 🤣. Not quite as great a vid as usual as the #1 camera person was under the weather but hopefully that will be back to normal service soon 😉 🤣. S..r, cheers, Schnuz.

Cheers Tony. I found it a bit tricky and can’t say things went that smoothly as had issues with the fermenter. Infact I am just off to the garage now to check the fermentation temp. I hope it’s keeping up to it’s 23 degree temp otherwise I will have to bring it up to the house and put a quilt round it!

Cheers Rick. I normally use rice hulls or oat husks whenever I put more than a kilo of wheat in a brew. I think only 100 grams went in this but if it’s a bigger batch of wheat I may put in up to 200grams. Some will put more in but being a tight Yorkshire git I would never put more than 200 grams in. They are expensive and I want them to last😂😂😂 It’s coming out of fermenter tomorrow and will be chilled in fridge for three or four days. Hoping to do a part two follow up at some point in November. Cheers mate👍👍👍

Hi Daniel I haven’t tasted it yet it’s in the fridge chilling before I bottle it tomorrow or Tuesday. A sparge is simply rinsing the grains with water at 75 degrees C. When you have mashed the grains for an hour there is still a lot of sugar trapped inside them so by sparging you are extracting that sugar. Hoping to do a part two with a tasting video in November.. Cheers mate and hope the house move going ok👍👍👍
