Great vids. I'm enjoying them and you are giving me all the info I need for the TD160 which I just bought yesterday. A little tip for cutting the slots in the mdf baseboard for the wires. Drill a hole at the farthest inside point of the slot and then use the jigsaw or handsaw to cut the lines to the hole.

Thank you for another great video. I just cleaned the springs on my 145, and I'm not getting the same kind of bounce that you are. Is it an issue of how much I tighten the nuts on the springs? I took care to position the soft side of the springs toward the spindle, though I didn't notice much difference between one side or the other.
Hello. I was wondering if you could give your opinion on sound deading. Do you not use it because you use real wood plinth? Thank you for your excellent videos and explinations. I just purchased my first one and preparing to go through it.
Do you think the thIcker heavier baseboard make a sonic improvement ,have heard of people leaving open to improve base?
