The Prince is originally by a band called Diamond Head. The same goes for "Am I Evil' and "It's electric". They're all from the same album called "Lightning to the Nations". I would definitely recommend checking it out.

C'mon bro, make this a reoccurring series, this is really fun to watch and there are endless riffs out there that give people the chills!

I second this. Not only do I enjoy watching & listening, but it encourages me to pick up my guitar & play along to riffs that I've never played before. 💯
I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw your moog synthesizer kick in.

That was my goal. haha
I think Orion, is honestly the biggest chill factor song here for me. Unchained and Detroit rock city after it.
The melodic riff in Tripping on a Hole in a paper Heart never fails to give me chills.
I love finding gems that I haven’t heard before. I pause, search it on Apple Music, and then return to the video. Love this stuff!
Massive props for including Primus, Larry LaLonde has some awesome riffs and I always thought that it was really impressive that he could play along with the wacky shit that Les Claypool does
the riff in No One Knows never fails to make me smile. It’s almost like an orchestra of guitar.
Overkill seriously doesn’t get enough credit! They are one of the best thrash metal bands I’ve heard and they’re still putting out music. The Years of Decay is one of my all time favourite albums. Honestly not a bad song on there!

No One Knows is such a banging song
I clicked on this cuz of the thumbnail having No One Knows, not disappointed
It’s great seeing you have fun with the songs. It’s like we get to enjoy them with you and it’s like you’re sharing your feelings towards the song in a way you couldn’t otherwise. Very cool. There are a few songs from here I didn’t know of and I’m for sure gonna check them out! Thanks
Pantera has so many that give me chills and make me wanna run through a wall. Revolution is My Name, Mouth for War, A New Level, and Heresy are super underrated.

I Fucking love the A New Level riff, so aggresive. And I would say Slaughtered is a good one too
Good stuff! Huge props for playing all the parts, as well as the recoding and mixing of said video 🤘
I really love these videos. every time since part 1 I just had my phone ready on my Apple Music waiting to add songs to my playlist, because all the songs you’ve played are so good and this is a such a good way to get a much bigger variety of artists on my playlist and discover songs I never would have knew before. So thank you :)
More riffs, more chills, more headbangs - THAT'S WHAT I LIKE :D
There are chills to be had from the guitar riffs AND the drum riffs in this one!
Taking a drink during the guitar sustain, classic
Dude you need to keep this going I love these series! Great vids as always!!
This should definitely be a regular series. Really great job on all these dude!
part 7 - clean riffs that give chillz
Really cool watching you geeking out over these riff and enjoying playing them. You‘re just like all of us, which is something I like about your channel. Also, agree with you about Persistence Of Time. Wish they would play that album in full one day.
I can see the pure joy playing Cold Gin. Looks like hes having a lot of fun with that one.
My biggest rush in this video was you drum playing, first time seeing it! I love everything about this channel
Boy do I love your vids, keep em up!
The relentless force of the rhythm at the end of "No One Knows" is great, but the part that always gives me chills is the main melody riff--the syncopation burrows itself into your brain until it feels like your entire being is connected to the beat.
Absolutely love your guitar tone. It’s so huge, without being scratchy
I felt the bass when it kicked in on Unchained. Man what a great riff.
Love the coffee swing in the middle of the riff I can relate! Coffee keeps those tempos up up!
YES! Be All, End All is by far the most underrated Anthrax song in my opinion, top 5 material for me
Thanks for #6! I didn’t think you could resist! They’re so good though I think we need monthly installments! No pressure 😁
Man, I swear these videos help explore music so much better. Really love how each of your these songs have some history to em. That's what I love about the 80s, 90s. You want music? Well, go get it! Can't just sit my ass down and Spotify, as convenient as it is. Did you ever Buckethead?
Can't wait to see Part 8 !!!
Detroit Rock City! Man, that takes me waaaaay back! Well done!!!
Morphine! man i love that band. RIP mark sandman
Man I really thought I was going to hear some Overkill Horoscope and some SOD! Bad ass video bro!
It’s nice to see that you are incorporating more drumming into your videos.
Love how you used all down on Live Wire, the same way Mick does. Sounded killer!
My band covered 'Say It Ain't So' but I had never heard the song before. The guitarist sang it to me so I knew the vocal melody and then we practiced and played it a numerous gigs before I ever heard the Weezer version. I sing in the style of Free/LedZep so thats what our version of this song sounded like. It got a few raised eyebrows among people who knew the original song.
YES!!!!! A nice surprise. Love it.
For me the send off riff after the solo in Dyers Eve always gave me crazy chills!
Was really happy to see Primus up there!
Dude: NEED to see that full t shirt print you're wearing!!

Wow this guitar is amazing man, beautiful! Jackson is great
For me the riff that gives me the most chills is probably the good life by weezer. The bar chords have such a sad vibe.

That's probably cause it goes from a G major to E major (half step down I think) so it's not a perfect fit and makes it interesting

Hey man great video! If you're actually done with this you could do one on some of your favourite newer riffs to play - I know the classics are great but that way you can share stuff with your viewers they might have never heard of!
As the bass player referenced in the “Cold Gin” segment, I can confirm that it was as magical as Mike’s recollection. What you didn’t mention though Mike, and what it took me a moment to remember, is that you were on drums for that set and Unit was on guitar. Once I remembered this, It made more sense to me and I could recall exactly what you were referring to. That was such an awesome gig, and Cold Gin in particular always stands out to me. Also, I can vividly recall locking in with you and Bobby on the breakdown, and seeing you behind the kit with a bit of a triumphant smirk on your face that said, “we nailed it boys😊.” The feeling I got that night is why I first picked up a guitar. We were all so tight and connected through the music, that even though the song may have been created by KISS, in that moment we owned it. Dyl

@@TheArtofGuitar when I was a young teen in the early nineties, my friend said, "you can order from them and they can't expect payment because you're a minor." The problem is when mom finds out you did it. The bigger problem is when she finds out you did it again.
One of my favourite riffs is the main riff in King Crimson's Thela Hun Ginjeet, especially the bassline, so good! Their another song Level Five also has a great riff in middle section! Also Megadeth's KIMB, the main and verse riffs. I like a lot of Megadeth riffs, but it would take too much time to list all of them :D
I’m SO glad you played the Prince
Damn straight I sung along :)
wanted to play guitar for the very first time when i heard Kansas' _Carry On Wayward Son_ - that riff just hooked me but i first heard that on Supernatural ^^
Everyone saying the show was Spitting Image yes it was but in the US our "version" that people remember was DC Follies.
Overkill!!!! The Years Of Decay and Under The Influence are 2 classic albums that a lot of people are unaware of. Full of tasty thrash riffs. Bobby Gustafson is still my favourite guitarist that played in that band.
Love the mention of Morphine! They did not have a guitar player, but Mark played a 3-string slide guitar sometimes, not on Buena, but I think in Thursday he plays the guitar
Im actually so glad that you put orion here i was so sad after the previous video that you didn't include it in this series but thats my all time favorite riff In case you read this i dont remember if you put unholy confessions but theres 1 more song for you now And keep up the good work man u r awesome
Dropping the bend part in "Say It Ain't So" is CRIMINAL.
In case no one mentioned it, the show that the Land of Confusion puppets were based off of was a British comedy/satire show called Spitting Image.
I personally love jamming on some Pink Floyd riffs such as Run Like Hell and Shine On You Crazy Diamond. I know it's hard to get the tones, but the riffs are just so much fun
Speaking of Disturbed, Decadence’s main riff is probably one one of my favorites, same with Inside the Fire’s chorus. SoaD’s Jet Pilot also has an amazing verse riff, so does Creating God by A7X.
I love the notes in between
Oh yeah, Van Halen has got tons of fun riffs!!
Once again, an Overkill riff! They completely rule. Hell yeah.
Super good. Greetings Henrik from Denmark

I love "Midnight" so much! Surfing with the Alien was my favorite album ever until I got into Bob Dylan in college.
I absolutely hated the video for Genesis's version of Land of Confusion, LOL! Now that you've reminded me, I will go back and check out the song again, although the Disturbed cover will probably always be my favorite. It's the first version I remember hearing, which may have something to do with it. That, and it's one of the most killer covers ever.
2:14 i discovered this song thanks to you man
You should do a bonus of acoustic riffs that give you chills
I have been haunted for 18 years by the Land of Confusion music video. I have had recurring nightmares about that talking puppet stomach for 18 years and I had never come close to figuring out what on earth I was watching with my extended family. Thank you for not only giving me closure on that nightmare, but for also showcasing even more awesome riffs!
Got to say props to the bass sound on this one, after that bass video it sounds killer!

The-Art-of-Guitar as a Bassist I love this thank you!
Upvote specifically because you called me out on singing along to Weezer. (Would have given a like regardless of course!)
3 came to mind while watching. Stranded by Gojira Blackest Eyes by Porcupine Tree (main riff) Deliverance by Opeth (the outro)
Bass sounds really good.
Awesome, again. So ,I clicked the like button and here's a comment to help the analytics.
keep going guy ..thanks
Ok but the intro to Go With The Flow by QOTSA is soooo good too... Also any part of No One Knows is kinda bone chilling
Really great riffs! 🤘 BTW have you noticed any improvements in tuning stability with string butler on your Les Paul?
Thanks for playing the original land of confusion. Spitting image is the show which used the puppets. Phil Collins was Master of Puppets
Tbh the bridge riff in damage inc is spine chilling
You are amazing
That last is so fckn cool, wish i could've seen them live
these videos sometime sounds like a guitar hero videogame setlist but thats awesome !
The Mountain Song...what a powerful riff
I guess Say It Aint So makes a lot of sense in this video because one of the lyrics is "Somebody's cold one is giving me chills"
O.K. Here we go... I clicked & SUBSCRIBED as a NEWBIE because I liked your easy way of teaching a new Guitar player BASICS. After about 2-3 weeks, all I see is your fav.., or un-fav.. RIFFS. This is above my ability & comprehension. I will however stay SUBSCRIBED in the hope that you will once again revert to your wonderful simplicity in teaching new guitarists. I, maybe should go back over your previous Videos to see 'HOW TO LEARN'. ALL THE BEST.🎸🎸🎸🎸🆗🆗🦘🦘

I love the drums in almost easy. I only wish you had the double ride like The Rev did. You nailed the beat though
You should do the second part of great southern trendkill, that's a groovy ass riff
The show was on ABC and was called DC Follies.
Aenema is a 4/3 polyrythm, if someone is struggling, you should watch some videos explaining it, it would be easier to get :) (like Adam Neely's 4:3 polyrythms video). Also you can use a phrase "pass the god damn butter" to remember it better :) (like paradiddles)
Nice Video again! Could you do something about "August Burns Red" , "Clutch" or "Every Time I Die" ? Maybe a video about their techniques or just a cover?
"Chilling" series here to stay???
That Orion riff is my literal favorite riff ever written on this planet
Yay he used my suggestion lol cemetery gates when it kicks in
