Love that thing about your shortcomings becoming your style. Two of my favorite bands have kinda the same thing with their guitarists. The Edge from U2 isn’t terribly technical, but his reliance on special effects defines the band. And then the other example is my favorite: Robert Smith from The Cure is not very technical either, but he relies on melodic hooks and interactions with the other instruments more so than a lot of other “lead guitarists”.

Sometimes I drag my little fingernail on the strings close to where the strings enter the playing field in front of my Floyd Rose German rear bridge... It makes a clean squeal or I play with one of the two rounded side of the pick letting my thumb ground out against the string for a second as I jump's back up from the pushing down from that thicker side of a pick also can use my thumbnail in the same way it's a wrist thing!! or a wrist twist to put your thumb nail in the line of fire!!!

Maybe the Wilson aisters, Ann and Nancy, could JAM with this ensemble as "Heartless Heart," and thereby tell off EVERYONE attempting to drive wedges BETWEEN Ann and Nancy! THAT'D show 'em!

I love that lower fifth sound. It’s heavy in a different way. I actually like it better if I had to make a call but the original is also amazing. Reminds me of High on Fire.

Gus's stood out to me immediately, because when I saw him with Ozzy it was the first time I'd seen one of Ozzy's guitarist's actually play Iommi's solo. But I reckon Gus and Jake are both the tougher guesses, since they aren't on any live albums like Randy and Zakk are.

I have 3 Epiphone doubleneck guitars and I'm thinking about getting Gibson to custom make me a Doubleneck with a Firebird reverse neck on the bottom and a SG neck on top with a SG body style. I already own a guitar with a Telecaster neck on the bottom and a SG neck on the top. My Telecaster on the bottom has the neck lipstick pickup. Both necks are mounted on an SG style body. I prefer two six strings on my doubleneck guitars over the traditional 12 and 6 string versions. All of my Doubleneck guitars are heavy guitars with the exception of this Fender Stratocaster unbranded model where I removed the 12 string bolt on neck and replaced it with an 6 string bolt on neck. The dimensions were the same and the 6 string fix perfectly into the neck cutout. I left the 12 string tailpiece in place and replaced the string saddles with Telecaster saddles.
