Accurate. My mom got all 3 of her babies a book. The oldest was beautifully filled out, every moment recorded and documented, the middle child's book had random memories jotted in it, a few cards and pictures, a lock of hair. I was the third baby. I had a baby book. It was still in the plastic when I turned 18.

Surprisingly, our second kid was the one that listened to a ton of Beethoven. It helped calm him down. Only Beethoven. And only his symphonies. And he could tell. It was weird.

Truth! I helped my parents sort old family photos so each kid could have their own childhood photos...my oldest brother's couldn't even fit in the box, and mine (youngest of 6) almost empty. It was most photos I took myself in the 6th grade 😆

I'm the sixth kid in my family, so even though cameras became a lot more available by the time I showed up, there's significantly fewer pictures of me. And y'know those "a picture from each year surrounding a big picture from senior year" things? The first four kids got those fully completed, the fifth got his mostly done, and I don't think they even started mine, lol.

I have no video tapes of myself at all growing up. And no baby pictures of myself before 11 months old. My biological mother didn't know how to use a camera. I started getting my picture taken once I was in foster care.

I have a FULL album. Every page in that album is filled with pictures of me growing up. My younger brother has a diary that has only up to 10 months of his life. My little sister tho lol NOTHING🤣🤣🤣 I'm the one who made it my duty to take lots of pictures of her😂

My Aunt was super careful with her first baby! No one could hold or touch him unless we had washed and sanitized our hands. Also, anytime his paci fell out she had to go thoroughly clean it before giving it back. 3 babies later, if the paci fell on the ground, a quick wipe on the jeans did the trick! 😂

True story. First baby: all organic, stage-formulated baby food. Second baby: blended up vegetables from the fridge. Third baby: fed peas right out of the can. Fourth baby: coming soon.

I love on the 2nd baby how they're not sitting next to each other on the couch!

U guys got a real life baby for this one. Budget must be improving with all the new subs. Keep it up boise.

By the time my third came along, I had a 3 year old, a 15 month old and the newborn. It was a free for all at that point and I literally don't remember 3/4 of it. I'm surprised their alive some days! Lol (To any new parents, my kids are now 11, 9 and 8, so you get through it! Except we're in the "tween" stage now, and I would give anything to go back! 🤣)

As the second baby, I can confirm all these stuff. My parents had all photos, albums , video recordings and big parties for my older sibling. I dont even have photos of my childhood except a handful of them from my relatives albums. I was mad about it for the longest time and tbh, I still am. I remember being convinced that my parents loved my sibling more than me. So if you are a parent reading this , please record all the childhood moments for all your kids if you can. Please. I guess being parent is extremely hard, but your kids could feel neglected because of these kinds of actions shown. Edit: one of the good things about being the younger sibling is that I went to all my brother’s classes as a kid (being babysat by his teachers) and ended up learning a lot before even I officially joined school . This gave me the option to skip many grades :)

This is accurate, not a parent myself but I’m the oldest of my family and have seen the difference between kids. My mom used to panic when I cried or got hurt and with the middle child shes just like “he’ll come to me if it’s rlly that bad, until then I’m just gonna *scrolls on Facebook till midnight*”

My second brother always swore there were no pictures or anything of him as a baby. At his wife’s baby shower my mom pulled out the sweater she had made my brother when she was pregnant with him, and made him a book of his baby pictures. Zing!

The baby book part!😂 My daughter gives me the worst time because her brother (our first child) has a fully filled out baby book and hers house about six pages.

1st baby/2nd baby injury is sooooo accurate. My first tripped on the door jamb at 1yr and I contemplated ER for a concussion (just a tiny bruise). 2nd fell down 4 deck steps at 15 months, had 2 black eyes and we were "just watch if the eyes start dilating differently" (BTW, my mom is a nurse and kept checking our kids for both of these).
