I would make a meal at my in-law’s house and my mother-in-law and I would argue about who would go last. Going before the last person was served was about more than she could handle. She couldn’t argue the ‘cook goes last’ rule, so I always won. lol

must be nice to have parents that actually cook. I taught myself to cook at 17 and pretty much became a professional after 9 months. when you been eating dog shit for 17 years, eating real home cooked food becomes a spiritual experience
