You won’t believe what people do when they think no one’s watching! The hit hidden-camera series “What Would You Do?,” hosted by ABC News’ John Quiñones, returns to ABC for a historic 16th season on SUNDAY, FEB. 18 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EST) with episodes available the next day on Hulu. Quiñones welcomes guest correspondents Sara Haines, co-host of “The View,” and W. Kamau Bell, cultural commentator and television host, as they observe how real people react when tricky situations and moral dilemmas arise in public settings.

Yeah I had an old couple back into my jeep at the gas station. He begged me not to go through insurance and I could tell they were on a fixed income and asked how much to replace it. It only screwed up my running board which was like 400 dollars, so I told him, it's fine he doesn't owe me anything, if you have the money or whatever you can afford, donate to someone in need. I received a text like 2 or 3 months later of a donation of $400 that was made in my honor to a slain officers family in New Orleans. So I guess something good came out of a busted running board

But this episode just showed faith in humanity. We have to stick together as a community 💪🏾🙌🏾.

First tears when the little girl said grandma gave her $20 mom can use it. More tears when the father and daughter had the same thoughts to pay for the milkshake. Kindness is what the world needs.
In Naples there's a wonderful tradition at the cafes, it's called "caffè sospeso" (suspended coffee). It means that when you order a coffee for yourself, you leave a paid coffee as well for the next client. It's a small act of selfless kindness. But these people are just marvellous, love from Italy!

@@ramrod0209 our coffees aren't too much elaborated like you have at Starbucks and they are cheaper, usually you pay for an espresso (1,20€) because that's the one that people usually ask for. Thank you to the guy in the blue top for helping, many blessing to you. 💙
With these newer WWYD episodes, I really wish they would film longer ... these seem very short and remove a lot of value/impact from the actual show ... a lot of the older episodes are amazing and went viral because the show explored why people did what they did, and presented evolving scenarios. Like the one where Sarah Haines actually was one of the actors for a mother with post partum depression, the episode wasn't just "watch people be nice to this lady with post partum and that's it", the episode actually explored what was going on with these peoples lives that caused them to do this. There are many more examples, like the one where there was a foster child being treated poorly in favour of a foster parent's biological child ... the show didn't just clip people doing nice things, they actually drew out why people were doing these things and the actors would build on the scenario to get more reactions from people.

It;s nice to know that so many people are willing to help like that :)
It’s a really, really nice thing to pay for somebody in need, and it’s something I would choose to do in the same situation, but it is quite a privilege sometimes. In the examples that this clip was showing, the prices were quite high ($52 is not cheap) so I don’t think people should be shamed for not helping, because they may not be able to afford to. If you’re able to help someone out, and you have the means to, then always choose kindness, but if you’re physically unable to afford to help someone out then that obviously doesn’t mean you’re a bad person.
