Gabe my man, please come to my humble state of Nebraska. I’ll show you the friendliest people you’ve ever met, old towns, family farmsteads, not to mention I’ll cook you the best steaks you’ve ever had (accompanied by homegrown whiskey, and wheat beer)... oh, and don’t forget the sweetest sweet corn, and homemade pies 😉 The places you travel to are so amazing and exotic. I love watching your videos! I know I’ll never see these places with my own eyes, so it’s fun to vicariously live through your channel... But I’m telling ya, throw that dart in the middle of the states, and let me show ya how we roll 😉

@@GabrielTravelerVideos Must make a trip to the hinterland! A lot of hidden gems in the Upper Great Lakes. Chicago can be sketchy and Toronto, boring, but Duluth is honestly still one of my favorite mid-size American cities. Go to the Upper Peninsula for some subtle yet undeniably beautiful nature. Madison, Oshkosh, and Eau Claire are full of the nicest, yet most genuine Americans you’ll ever meet. I know you like beer and swimming and where better for that than the beaches of the unassuming lake towns of Lake Michigan like Traverse City, Petoskey, Frankfort, Charlevoix, Sutton’s Bay, Elk Rapids, Mackinac, Harbor Springs, Leland, Escanaba, Manistee, Marinette, Ludington, Manitowoc, Grand Haven, Sheboygan, or Saugatuck? Aside from the orchards and wineries, the Leelenau Peninsula has the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakes Shore which is an awesome place to explore with 600 foot sand bluffs that drop straight into the lake. Don’t let New Yorkers or Ohioans fool you. Aside from Sandusky and Niagara, the Great Lakes only suck in their states because they don’t take care of them. (disclaimer: this is not an advertisement)

@@kenneyjake I went to a Rainbow Gathering in the upper peninsula of Michigan back in 2002. It was in the woods so didn't explore the towns really other than driving through, but got a little taste of it. Then I hitchhiked from there across Wisconsin to Minneapolis to catch a flight, barely made it in time.
What a lovely man. Greek people from the islands are so kind and welcoming.
I hope you love Kefalonia i actually live in Argostoli so i actually get the chance to visit the cave every time i want. And thanks for the love you have shown towards Greece from all your videos 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷

No words to describe the color of water, it's so unreal from deep inside and some stalacites formed which is almost 20,000 years old from the ceiling of the cave is really phenomenal.

Καλημέρα.kalimera from Kasos, Dodecanese. The cave was so beautiful.Everyone says that the Ionian islands are so beautiful. But in general the islands of Greece are beautiful. My dream is to visit the following islands: Paxos, Leros, Astypalea, Paros, Naxos, Milos. I come from a small island in the Dodecanese, the heroic Kasos, which has a long history, which dates back to ancient times and has been mentioned by Homer in the Iliad. Continue your travels and have a great time ....
Always watching your vlog.God bless you and stay safe.
Love Kefalonia, and loving all the Greece videos, thanks Gabe. Oh how I miss holidays!
Hi Gabe, the mountains on the islands look perfect for a hike. I'm sure it's nice view and not too hard.

@@mackjeez Yeah that's normal and the tourists usually start pouring in at the end of June. However you'd never find spots like that so empty. I hope you enjoy your trip here!
Kefalonia has many sandy beaches, more beautiful than Zakynthos. The entire southern coast of Kefalonia, from Skala to Argostoli is only sandy beaches. There are also some sandy beaches where Lixouri is, such as Xi. The northern part of the island, close to Format to and Agia Efimia is mostly pebbles and rocks. Kefalonia is a big island and you need either to research before going there so you know in advance exactly where to go, or you need at least a week.
Oh thank you Gabriel for show us this beautiful places that I never imagine exist they beautiful 🤩

11 August of 1953, there were actually four earthquakes that hit the island. These earthquakes destroyed almost every house , 27.659 houses of about 33000. The worst earthquake measured 7.3 on the Richter scale. The center was on the southern tip of the island and raised the island by 60 cm. The watermarks on rocks around the coast bear testimony to this fact. The only areas that escaped destruction were on the northern side. The worst blow to the economy was that most of the residents left the island to live elsewhere. This left only a few residents on the island. 600 people died and the survivors who did not leave or they who returned to the island rebuilt everything. The new buildings were built according to strict anti-earthquake specifications.
