You discovered my island. We have been visiting there for twenty five years. There is so much more to discover. How you see it so quiet is how it used to be but for covid.usually it’s buzzing with tourists from the U.K. Italy and the grandchildren of the islanders that left after the earthquake. Who now live in America, Canada and Australia.

I just saw your video from Paxous, where you talk about your crazy travels after Kefalonia. All I can say is yes, my friend it's tough in the Greek rural life as far as transportation goes. There are two main reasons and those are decreased population and most people nowadays have their own cars. ALL THE BEST TO YOU WHEREVER YOUR FREE SPIRIT TAKES YOU!

Hi Gabriel, You simply can't get much more peaceful than being on these Islands very slow pace of living no rushing very relaxing even in high season it must be a very easy-going pace.

Every time background music I enjoy a lot. I can perceive your music sense is awesome. What a wonderfully captured of all these mindblowing beaches, it's so amazing with phenomenal colors and also weather was quite supportive to give these kind of majestic views from the upside hill.

Wow. Whoever owns that property at the top of the hill with the spectaculor view are blessed.
Kefalonia has to be on of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean.. green Forrests, amazing hiking, stunning beaches, the bluest water..and it's not overdeveloped by mass tourism. Will you visit Ithaca and Lefkada?

Mate, your vlogs are killing me! I was there in September 2019 and it was amazing! Thanks for bringing back these wonderful memories of Kefalonia. I'm hoping you also travel to Lefkada.
It takes a few more weeks for the water to warm up a bit. By July the water is quite warner, by August and September even more. I think though that the Ionian sea is a bit colder than the Aegean. And the Golf of Corinth which is nearby is even colder.
@andraskleistenes8586
3 жыл бұрын
I think , the Ionian see is warmer then the the Aegean see, usually, not talking about the Aegean islands are much more windy. The bays like Thermikos, Saronikos are warmer near to the mainland Greece, on the Aegean side, of course. I would go for the warmest water to Zante , Tolon ( Argolis bay) South of Peloponese , and Southern Crete. You can find the coldest see water in the northeastern part of the Agean see. This spring was unusually cold in Europe, so the see is not as warm as usual in June...
@roothik
3 жыл бұрын
@@andraskleistenes8586 I don't think wind velocity is making any big difference regarding water temperature (but wind direction is). In western and central Greece there are many underground water streams, flowing from the mountains to the coast, which are regionally causing quite cold water, especially in the golf of Corinth and in parts of the Ionian, which is also the case for some islands. With western winds and currents the water gets even colder in some areas.
Although I live in the UK, kefalonia is where my heart is and I'm a regular visitor. The pandemic has led to the cancellation of flights into the island and they're only just restarting from London airports, which is why there are no tourists. So strange and sad to see Poros, Lourdas and especially Scala and Assos without the usual bustle and I know the tourist industry there is in dire straits as a result. Cannot wait to return to the most beautiful place on earth and praying the locals can survive long enough for tourists to return and help rebuild their economy.
Love kefalonia...what a beautiful chilled journey Sabrina 🇬🇧

Amazing video man! If you want a hike when you go to Lefkada you can go to Mylos beach and then Egkremnoi where a recent earthquake took out much of the road and you'll have to even rapel down at some point. They look similar to Myrtos (like most beaches on the west side) but Egkremnoi is even more epic. And ofcourse Porto Katsiki and some others like Agiofuli beach which looks like a natural pool. You'll not believe your eyes. Enjoy!

Also, when you go to Porto Katsiki, remember to go early in the morning, so as to see the beach from above, with the shade of the rocks covering the beach and the water!
