Greg's guitar melodies are pretty much like having a second singer in the band! I can listen to his solos over and over! Amazing guitar player!

Faith divides us.... is easily one of their heaviest albums

You can see clearly Jeff Walker from Carcass on the 0.51-0.52 mark at the background and his face on 3.26. Btw, awesome video with expressionless people and ambience. PL never disappoints!!!!!!!

The more I listen to this album the more I think that same as Plague Within is ranked below "Icon" and "Draconian Times" only because of the year it was released and the "classic" status latter albums got. This is equal masterpiece to Paradise Lost early work. It is amazing how Paradise Lost got second wave of absolutely genius albums nobody is raving about. This is at the same time cherished band for some work (Icon and Draconian mostly) and for some albums equally good or even better (Shades of God, FDUDUU, The Plague Within and Obsidian) criminally underrated

One of the few bands that consistently releases excellent albums.

Ive listend to this album soooo many times, and this album just seems to take all the very very best elements of Gothic (listent to the slowed down bit in this tune around 2.45-3.25), SoG, Icon and Draconian Times and integrate them all into one. All those PL albums transported me to another world when i listened to them, but nothing from One Second on did that. This album is an utter masterpiece, and something incredibly special in this world has been rediscovered.

The build up to a real good pit!

It's just like a box of sweets. You never no what you get, but from this Band the songs are always amazing !!!

All songs exept for Living with Scars are absoluteley fenomenal on this album. I feel they've managed to keep the focus on the entire disc and not on specific songs as well, which I like a lot. Very well done indeed. :)

Although FDUDUU is not my top favorite PL album, this track is one of their best pure metal songs since their early days. Plague Within and Medusa have both given this competition, however.

Paradise Lost always have good,witty videos. I don't know who the director is for the latest album,but he's great.

Actually my former physics teacher who is also my friend gave me his old cd collection and that's how I found out about this band .So yeah he grew up with listening to them . There must be something between teachers an this band :D .

@soulstormblues1977 yes,they're heavy again formally since 2007 with the album "in requiem.This specific one is from the 2009 album "faith divides us-death unites us".Both albums are as great as old PL.
