I love this song because in the beginning, the lyrics portray a positive light and the positive temper of the soldiers in the beginning of the war. However, as the song goes on, so does the brutality in the lyrics and the whole song is like a timeline from the beginning to the near-end of the war. I also like that the lyrics portray the insanity and depravity of the commanders, captains and all of the high-ranking officials.
