Paper Inkspirations - 13 Creative Ways to Fill Up Empty Notebooks
Hi friends! I'm Agnes de Bezenac and here is my happy place to share some of the things that fill my life with joy. In this video I'm speaking specifically to those of you who may have some beautiful notebooks sitting on the shelf and you don't know what to do with them. If that's the case, this video may spark a little inspiration and some ideas of meaningful and artsy ways to fill up your books, for you and your wellbeing, and even as a way to benefit those around you. This is what I call a bucketfull of self-care, haha!

Those notes to your kids will be such lovely memories =)
Thank you for sharing these great ideas. I especially love the way you use your journals for communicating love to yourself, your children, and your husband. That is so special for all of you.
What lovely ideas you have! I’m watching this at 6:30 in the morning, and immediately after typing this, I’m going to start a book of love notes to my husband of 46 years. His first note will be waiting for him when he gets up. Thank you for that wonderful idea!!

Oh, so sweet of you and many thanks for sharing this. I loved to hear it. And congratulations on your 46 years with your husband. This is so beautiful to hear and how you still try to find those special things to make him happy. I'm so happy if this little idea inspired you.
I like that you showed that you are filling up diaries. I feel so guilty that I have so many diaries/calendars that I haven’t used.
I thought I was the only one who had so many notebooks that I use to write in so many different things. I still have more empty notebooks and now you have given me more ideas thank you so much

So glad you like the ideas. Whenever I have something in there for my kids, I leave the book out on my desk, otherwise it's tucked away on the shelf... cause then they know there's a new little "love entry". When they leave me a note, they leave the book wide open for me to see, haha.
These ideas are great, and your creativity is truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Love the quotes notebook!!
Such fantastic ideas! I thought the journal of memories (love notes) for your kids were especially sweet! I wish I thought of that when my kids were little, but now I think I will start one for both to have upon my passing of my memories of their lives, and our respective lives together. Thank you for sharing this video! 💕
What a great idea about having a notebook to write in for your kids!!

This is one of the most comprehensive and useful of these notebook lists that I've seen so far! I would like to add one i learned from my mum: using an old year planner/diary as a recipe book!

Oh, you are so sweet, thanks for your kindest compliment. And that's such a great idea. I love it! Yes, yes that's a super one, for adding recipes. I actually even have one for that, haha. Maybe one day I might make a second video of these as I have a few other ideas I didn't get to add in here, it got too long, haha. Thank you for sharing this idea for others here!!
Am a new subscriber! These are all great ideas. I have so many pretty empty journals collecting dust too but need to do the same. My favorite is your Doodles and Crafting Notebooks. Yours are so beautiful and creative. I look forward to more videos. Thanks so much for sharing.

Loved this. I have such a big notebook collection and often start scribing in one then go to another. This was helpful for inspiration, but also incorporating creativity, crafting and organisation. Thank you 🙏

Very inspiring! I can see you have much going on in your head by way of organizing "head clutter" which might otherwise get in the way of accomplishing what you need to. Clearing up mental space by processing and then moving forward. Did not see a prayer journal. These books would be time-consuming, but so is social media...I think this might be a way of replacing hours spent on social media and inspire reading on solutions that have worked for other people. Thank you for the creativity around these journals!

@@theartofwellbeing Thankyou, i tend to keep them seperate by the library reading journal and bought reading journal.
Such beautiful notebooks and great ways to use them. Gould you tell me where you purchased the reflections promt and the light blue with silver gilded pages? Thank you.
@agnesdebezenac
Жыл бұрын
Thank you! The reflections prompt book I bought from a shop called Action. The one with silver pages is not actually a notebook, but was an empty "sample" version of a book, that I got years ago from a bookfair, haha. So unfortunetaly it won't be found anywhere, so sorry. I'm wondering where to find journals with silver or gold on the edges, it does give it a real nice touch.
I do the braindump book, but I do it in a cheap $1 notebook. Once it is filled, I destroy it. I do not plan to ever read it, and I do not want others to read it either. My oldest has one, too. My kids are adults now, but as kids, I had the notebook system with them. They always had access to it and could write anything and not get in trouble for it. I found it kept the communication open even through their teen years.
@agnesdebezenac
Жыл бұрын
Yes, yes, that's a great idea, not using a beautiful book for the brain dump. I totally agree. And I love that about your kids having one too. What a great thing to get your kids into early on, and for keeping the communications going, especially during that teen stage. So so great! My kids are not huge communicators or talkers, neither writers for that matter, but I hope that one day they will see the joy and the benefit from it too. :)

Thank you for sharing. There were loads of good ideas here. I purchased a day planner that I don’t need (since I already have one) but it was so beautiful! I thought I could cut it up- however it is too beautiful for that & I’ve not been able to bring myself to cut it! Now I have some great ideas for what I can do with it instead!❤

Not sure if I should thank you or curse you😏. I don't buy journals as often as I want because I know it wouldn't get used. Now I have a few ideas of journals to create because of you so I have no reason to stop myself anymore😅

Thank you for your kind words. I know... it's true... the hard part is start starting. I started my little writing habit with just 5 minutes a day. That's all I could muster up, until I longed and desiredd for more, and then I found the time for it. Hope this encourages you a little.
Do you remember the brand name of the first planner/journal you showed? Or where you got it from?
@agnesdebezenac
Жыл бұрын
That's a good question, haha. I couldn't find the brand name on it anywhere. I bought it from a store in France called Action, where they have lots of pretty art materials. I'm sorry this is not very helpful... Next time I go to the store I'll ask about it :) in case they have more details on it.
Hi there, I was wondering, when do you give yourself the self-care coupons?
@agnesdebezenac
Жыл бұрын
That's a good question. I usually try to treat myself to at least two to three coupons weekly. Sometimes it happens more on the weekend when there is a little less pressure on the accomplishment front, other times it's during the week when I have my little quiet times or coffee break. What I have learned about these is to just be flexible and not try to push them on myself or else I lose the benefit of well-being from them, haha. I just going with the flow and allow myself to be inspired to do a little something for myself. That's when I check out those love coupons and choose one. And I realise that it's also building a habit and it gets easier to do those little treats for yourself as time goes on. For me a change of mindset and a change your priorities is what worked like magic to finding more time, haha. Time didn't just suddenly stop or slow down for me but it was me who stopped and made the time. I hope this helps to answer your question somewhat. :)

do you keep your "brain jump" journal? i also do morning pages/ brain dump, but i tear up the pages right afterwards
@theartofwellbeing
10 ай бұрын
Thanks @julieslevine100 for that question, that's a good one, haha. Actually since I've only started journaling in the past 2-3 years and I don't have mountains of journals, for now at least, YES I do keep even my brain dump journals. I have gone back to them on a very few random occasions, just out of curiousity I guess, and it' was an interesting refresher of where I came from and how I've grown. Even though there is a lot of dreary stuff in there, I still find some random glimmers of inspiration hidden inbetween, that have even helped pull me out of difficult times, or a teensy winsy sparkle of an idea that I could try again... An "If I got over it then, I can do it again" motivating moment too... So, so far, I'm keeping them, especially because I know that no one else in my household is even interested or curious to peek at them, haha. Otherwise I do realize that there could be private stuff in there that you don't want anyone else to see. I figure that if my husband finds one, well then he'll know how I really feel. If one of my kids (now teens) find one, they'll maybe get an idea/example of how they could express a bit more of their feelings... haha. I don't know if this is at all helpful. Let me know if so. Thanks for writing. Always love getting other's comments and questions.
Do you keep all your journals when they are filled?
@theartofwellbeing
Жыл бұрын
Hahaha, yes, for now I do keep my all my journals. But that might depend on how many I end up with. I've only started my journals a couple years ago, but it's been such a joy creating them. For now it's my "happy place".

Yes, I am an introvert. But it's not like I sit and write all day. I work, I'm a mom, I'm a wife, I'm involved in my community... But writing is my little inspirational getaway... I craft or draw or write and it helps me handle and love all the rest. Not everyone has to write but I think everyone has something that "lights them up" inside.
