Paolo Taballione, flute - September 18, 2022

Paolo Taballione was born in Rome in 1981. After graduating from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome with the highest honours in the class of Prof. G. Schiavone in 2001, he studied in Switzerland at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Genève in the class of J. Zoon, where he obtained the "Diplôme de Solist" with unanimous approval in 2007. In addition to his intensive flute studies, he also began studying piano and composition in 1998, a discipline in which he graduated with honors in the class of M° F. Carotenuto at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in 2008.
His repertoire, ranging from Baroque to Contemporary music, led him to be a very young winner of numerous national and international solo competitions. From there he went on to perform as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician in the most important concert hall in Europe, including the Musikverein in Vienna, Gasteig in Munich, the Festspielhaus in Salzburg, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Auditorium Parco della musica in Rome, Beethovensaal Stuttgart, Konzertsaal del KKL in Lucerne, Teatro San Carlo in Naples. He has also played as a soloist with orchestras such as the Bavarian State Orchestra, Bach Collegium München, Orchestra Reino de Aragón, "I cameristi" of Santa Cecilia, Georgian Sinfonietta, and others.
He is currently flute soloist at the fabled Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Germany and a flute professor at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria.
Pianist Soyeon Kim has performed throughout the USA, Europe, and Korea, at venues including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Alice Tully Hall, Zankel Hall, and Weill Recital Hall in NYC, Konzerthaus Berlin, and Musikverein in Vienna. Ms. Kim holds BM and MM degrees in piano performance from Seoul National University and the MM and DMA in accompanying from the Manhattan School of Music, where she served as a vocal coach and staff pianist for 12 years. She is on the piano faculty at Montclair (NJ) State University.

    Signor Taballione suona il flauto prestando "l'ascolto ~ il segno del sentimento", essendo pensiero all'organo per il suo adeguato flusso in suoni cladnici (Cladnische Klangfiguren), essendo segno sú sabbia, metallo, aqua, erba, pelle, stella ed essendo la sua via armoniosa nel toccarsi. Stella maris ~ universitá d'arteterapia a Bologna..........

    aspetto con ansia il giorno in cui lei pubblicherà un suo video con la stessa o una superiore qualità rispetto alla performance di taballione, ovviamente facendo a meno di mostrare "quegli inguardabili passetti di danza" quel giorno il suo commento avrà un senso.
