oh my goodness is this real? You met THE Ko Yeongyeol of Rabidance!? This is absolutely incredible. As a Phantom Singer & Rabidance fan I never thought I'd see this sort of content on your channel. Rabidance are not only competent pansori singers, but they also constantly challenge "world music" and attempt to sing in various other languages and genres too. Here is list why I enjoyed this so much: 1.The man's voice is so soothing to listen to. 2. The way Dave went from: I don't know how to do it, to: okay I'll try and still doing good was pretty amazing to watch. 3. The little slap on the instrument when he said that he can't do it. 4. The synergy between the two is also really nice to watch And overall, it truly is amazing to listen to and learned something new

옆나라가 아리랑이 지들거라고 우기는 상황에 적절한 영상이네요 ㅎㅎ 판소리는 한국인에게도 어렵고 쉽지 않은데 재밌네요 ㅎㅎ

Oh I love listening to Pansori. The stories and angst in the voice are always deeply moving, even if I don’t understand word for word.

I think pansori is an amazing and beautiful way of singing, I think it’s sad that the younger generations in SK are less interested in it. As a German teenager, there is nothing I am particularly proud of concerning German culture, if I was Korean I would embrace my culture. Pansori is really beautiful and although I don’t really speak Korean, I can feel the emotion and am sometimes crying when listening to pansori performances. Thank you for covering such an amazing topic, Dave.

Generally Korean society hates people from the Southwest or Jeollado. That could be one of the reasons why pansori isn't as popularised too.

Like in all singing styles the body posture plays a significant role. You can make the air flow better. Given the way you were sitting it makes sense why you found it more difficult. It was a very good try though dude, respect :) The pansori teacher was amazing.

I didn't know they had lessons for this kind of stuff. It's amazing, but ain't nobody giving it the one-on-one attention it deserves. I love it when KZreadrs showcase traditional or indigenous art forms. Languages and food too!

Please keep this kind of content coming! I enjoyed it a lot, very different from the mainstream content about Korea.

i LOVE pansori... i studied it over the summer and learnt sooo much vocab from the lyrics - it's really like a time freeze of the speech of those centuries and the vocal talent is breathtaking !
