I came here without expecting much because pansori is hard where you're not used to singing it, but she actually did a pretty good job!

One of the many reasons why I love Suzy so much is because of her versatility in her roles and the dedication she always puts to deliver it greatly.

she really has a superstar quality, i dreammm of her crossing over like Bae Doona but i'm afraid Suzy might have too thick of an accent to play a character that isn't korean. I really hope she works hard in that because she has so much potential

@@airodja5961 I agree. In my opinion we rarely see idols to accept or try to sing a traditional songs in korea. That's why I'm so proud of suzy she did a great act in this film

My Punch Drunk Boxer and The Sound of a Flower are the only two movies I've found so far with pansori. If anyone knows anymore please let me know. Also I've noticed in sageuk, Emperors/Crown Princes are portrayed as either politically impotent and powerless to do anything or absolute tyrants doing what they please, taking whomever and whatever they please. No middle ground. Also, the one constant in every sageuk is the ministers are always plotting against the throne.
