As soon as Lawless said that we wouldn’t have been any worse off keeping Xhaka and not buying Rice, I knew I didn’t need to listen to the cue ball any longer… you do know Partey has been unavailable all season right? 🤦♂️🤦♂️

@@trevatheterrible619 Xhaka-Jorginho pair def would’ve made us drop more points throughout the season. Both don’t have pace and Xhaka just isn’t as composed and defensively astute as Rice.

@@bahriboy With a Xhaka-Jorginho double pivot, we don’t get 4 pts from each of Liverpool and City. Also Xhaka can’t play a lone 6 as Rice had done in the first half of the season with Havertz in the 8. So plz stop chatting rubbish. With Partey basically unavailable this season, if we had Xhaka instead of Rice we’d been absolutely screwed and you know it.
LB can't even get basic facts right, Aston Villa are playing in the European Conference League not the Europa league.

We would definitely find a spot to him and make him a better player. But he needs time and he needs to not start every game. He's not ready for the big games imo and he needs accountability, wich he doesn't have in Arsenal. He can ghost and do whatever and still be guaranteed a spot in the starting 11. But all in all I wouldn't mind having Saka. He could be amazing in the future under Pep. He's already damn good, I just have a hard time seeing him going to that wc level in Arsenal. Sorry if that offends.
