Its because at best he's a billionaire, and not a trillionaire. Russia and the U.S were in the top 3 world top military spenders and us two were the most fine tuned of the machine it would take probably about 10t to resist either of us in a all out invasion

Putin had trillions for the Russian budget and a 20b disposable income we can actually place. There was never any reason why Russia needed more industrial land, had to skimp out on the invasion forces equipment, or needed to threaten all of thw west to secure any more security

Oligarchs and billionaires persuade the governments to make things legal or to frame laws in such a way that the law can be circumnavigated. So generally what they do is legal but maybe not so ethical. The Billionaires always plead ignorance. We did not approve. We were un aware. That is not the professional advice we received. We cannot control what our suppliers do. We followed standard business practices. It was an over site. We regret this situation and will follow best practices in the future. The only crime is getting caught.

As well as Snake island, in reality all 80+ soldiers are alive and well. And maternity hospital. And drama theater. And shopping mall. All those locations had either Azov guys there or some military equipment

I have to admit, while we are sending all thos weapons to him, I couldnt help thinking about all the other countries that we have given or sold weapons to only to some day have those weapons used against us. There is no such thing as an honest Leader.

The US has been knowingly backing extremist rebel groups for decades, using them to alter the power balance in places like the Middle East and Central America, starting by the Mujahideen in the 70s-90s, and going all the way to the "moderate insurgents" in Syria this past decade, some of whom bragged about previously fighting alongside ISIS and Al-Qaeda, some of whom are now fighting the Kurds...
