    Really like it. You did say the finish was water based as you showed a picture of it saying oil-based!!

    Deffo smart to wear specs when pulling nails. I nearly took my eye out doing that with none on. It flew out and stuck in my face about 3mm from my eye... be careful folks 👍

    I like the table. I think the darker color would have hidden the wood’s character albeit pine.

    Wish I had the time to take on this challenge. I’ve found three (I think European walnut) massive pallets. Absolutely stunning, they look homemade.

    The can of the varnish clearly says oil-based ... Nice table though! Would take up the challenge too if I can make the time!

    Great idea Matt. As you said in the podcast, I recently bought a £1000 pallet from Axminster and it came with a free bandsaw, which, unfortunately, I threw away.
