This is so lovely and I really appreciate your words of encouragement to keep going through the uglier stages of starting a project. I get so discouraged if something doesn't turn out how I expected right away. This painting idea is beautiful and I can't wait to try it on an old book.

Such a delightful page now. The blue is very pretty. My favorite color actually along with orange.i adore this painting on book pages. Have never tried it. Nor am I an artist but I'm not afraid of some flowers to beautify my pages. Thank you so much for the inspiration Wendy

Go for it! You can do it. Just don't give up if it doesn't look exactly "right" the first time. The joy is in the doing. 😊

It is indeed is very pretty ever. I love that you did the drawing with the water coloring. I too am an watercolor artist but haven't done very much for a few years now. But I've made a commitment to return to read the first of the year. I have subscribed and I'm looking forward to more of your work

Hi Wendy, I found your channel a few days ago looking for collage ideas and fell in love with your beautiful art, and your presentation in your videos. You keep it real! Then I stumbled on this page. I'm considering doing this to a book written by a relative. It was so long ago and the information isn't really relevant. But I feel like I should read it first and decide if I should take this heirloom (that I paid way too much for) and keep it in the family but make it my own.

The flowers are so pretty! I'm curious to try this now! I confess I had a hard time watching this video. I know that some have trouble distinguishing text when there is too little contrast between it and the background. I have the same trouble with sound. The piano got a little loud sometimes and I had a hard time filtering it from your speech.

Thank you so much for the feedback on the sound. I have wondered sometimes if it was a little too loud and have experimented with different levels. I have a soft voice anyway, and when I'm concentrating I tend to talk even more quietly. I'm trying to be more aware of that. So thanks for letting me know your experience.

I like these ideas. For myself I think the tape distracts from the collage, but it's obviously personal preferences.

I would have loved to watch your video but I hound the music too intrusive and distracting.

I'm sorry about that. You can always turn the sound down or off and just watch. In my newer videos I have no background music, or music only when there are longer periods of no talking. I also have a few other videos of painting on old book pages. I hope that helps.

Can you turn off the music? its so difficult to hear you and its so loud.

@@robot7759 Not sure about subtitles, but you can turn off the captions, the CC at the bottom of the video on the right side, click it to turn on or off.
