Such a beautiful painting! I used to have a lot of birds and had Cockatiels like you do. Mine (Betty & Freddie) actually had 3 clutches of babies together. That said, I couldn't see well under your female bird to see if her long tail feathers were speckled or not, but if her long tail feathers are speckled, then she is a female. The males have solid colored long tail feathers.
