I never thought I would want to knit a shawl, but I am DEFINITELY knitting this! 😍 I am obsessed!
Love how you show step by step how to do the stitch - even redoing it to where a person can really see how you did it.
Thank you so much for the tutorial. You are always so clear and so generous to explain us all your secrets. You are a genius.
Greetings to you from sunny Namibia (southern Africa). You were recommended to me by my neighbor who saw a Deutsche Welle (DW) documentary on you knitting. And then I was hooked (or should I say strung). I am a very experienced knitter and wrote down the pattern from the instructions above. Looked at this and summised I probably need an engineering / combo architectual degree ... to complete this. Not so, I shall be master of this mountain! And I am climbing that mountain which turns out to be a small hill. Also downloaded this pattern from Ravely. Thank you Stephen, keep going, you are doing extraordinary beautiful patterns. They are exceptional and wonderful to knit. One of the best thing that could happen to us in pandemic times, sharing these artworks on KZread. Keep going please and stay safe in your part of the world in such troubling times, where we can at least enjoy your patterns to stay with our butts at home and not go insane, as winter is approaching with us here in our part of the world, and we desperately need to stay warm and safe. Thanks a million. Much appreciated and keep safe. With much love from Windhoek, Namibia.

WOW Stephen you are the best. 💕😘
As I sit here working on my holiday (after working the entire weekend as well), your video is making it hurt less 😜. Hearing your voice always makes me happy! Holy crap, these samples are beautiful! And I love your sweater, that green is fabulous. I can completely see why you are obsessed with honeycombs. I’m looking forward to diving into many of the patterns in your latest collection. To quote YOU, “keep knittin’ kitten”

After percieving you for a couple of years but declining your models... now I have to say: YOU ARE GREAT 👍🏻🌼 I am knitting for decades and experiencing so many new techniques in the last months by viewing a lot of knittng podcasts here on YT. For instance the yarn weaving in method. This is a really break-through cause I'm hating to sew in all the ends when making colour-work. By this time you are one of my "heroes". Thank you so much 🙏🏻💗 BTW: your explanations are absolutely superp. Nothing left to ask for. Sorry for my poor English. ✨✨✨
I love the big honeycomb! The color gradient mixed with the edging makes it look like dragon scales/wings!
I LOVE the long rib cuffs on your sweater. I'm with the other commenters - your gift is a pleasure to witness.
Thank you for show how to trap yarns, will be making this. You are a wonderful knitter.
You really have a gift for coloring, designing and teaching - I am in awe! Thank you for sharing your magic. Radha x
I am totally in love and addicted to your patterns
Thank you for these videos. You make patterns that I would be intimidated to attempt into ones that I am excited to try!
I think i have to do this for a friend ... he is a beekeeper! The dark purple variation is awesome ❤️

I don’t do shales but I enjoy the different stitches
Wow wow wow! You are so talented
Absolutely AMAZING…I NEED to make a shawl!!!
Awesome, thank you for teaching and sharing.
The large honeycomb 😍😍 I’m going to have to make one.
Я счастлива,что я вас нашла! Вы Волшебник и Профессионал!
I've started a shlanket. Doing big honeycomb pattern with substantial yet squishy and fluffy merino. As it works long edge to small rather than getting larger this is going to keep my motivation up given each line will get faster to finish. I just finished the first line of honeycombs and although just a first date with this shawl I've fallen in love with it.
Thinking of how to incorporate this into a corner-to-corner baby blanket...Thanks again, SW!
Soooo beautiful, I love it! Thank you
Love this can’t wait to try this pattern:) Thank you so much
