Its all in your head, your not an artist. Your living in a fantasy world created by the mainstream and KZread. All your paintings are for kids. You have a choice to make, you can recieve some proper art education or continue paintng like a child. If this is the path your taking, stick to Acrylic paint its cheaper and dries faster. Its getting really annoying seeing this crap recommended to me on KZread, whist i am trying to search for actual artists. KZread used to be a platform of decent information, not its all censoring and pumping garbage into the world.

"If it doesn't work out, you can always repaint it." Was something my perfectionist brain needed to hear. Thank you for showing us the process of your beautiful work!
I've got to admit, the blunt honesty of your comments during the process of your painting are really refreshing. Thank you!

True. I sometimes get caught up in "producing narratives" in my art, when sometimes just need to chill.....
Do more "lazy way" videos! 😅 In addition to your artwork being INSANELY good? I love your bluntness, sense of humor, and how much you love pop culture. I also find your voice incredibly soothing as well. Love love the painting! (As always!) ❤

I agree. He has a lovely voice that is so easy to listen to.
I agree with you 100%,most of us just enjoy the process of creating, It is not always about the concept and meaning.
As an artist, I always start off with an idea in my head, start to Paint, and it never ends up how I pictured it in my brain. There’s never really a concept to begin with, but as I painted and finish it, the concept just reveals itself. Love your channel, and love your honesty 😊

To be honest, I hate the painting and keep going until I love it. But what you said about knowing when to finish it. So true if you keep going you’ll end up ruining it, or hating it again and you don’t want to finish it.bloody hell. Love from Australia.

I often start painting with just a hint of an idea. Trust me you can repaint the same canvas many times & still end up with something beautiful. I don't do this all the time...I usually start with a thumbnail. Then Black and white comp. Then a color comp & maybe a final comp...with this process it usually flows quite smoothly.
Sometimes, we artists just wanna paint some cool art. It’s that’s simple😁
she looks so regal🥰 And thank you for saying artist dont always have a meaning to what they create, sometimes we just want to create a cool pretty piece 😝
I don't think I've ever felt so strongly about a painting! I LOVE this painting, and am excited to have been able to watch it happen! Thank you! Also, your honesty regarding painting, and the process of painting is SO encouraging!
this video speaks for every artist , spectacular!

I'm from Kenya.. beginner artist... To me, your art is like a lesson. I really enjoy the process and the result as well
This is absolutely incredible, the colours work beautifully together! I love the golds and blues - also the little tease we got about the digimon painting 👀 it's also really calming to hear you struggle with finishing your works too - that really seems to be pretty common; thank you for the solid advice at the end! It really is that simple, if you think about it... if it's done it's done!

artists are practical people with (several) superpowers
"Bring the painting up as a whole" You just showed me how to move forward with a painting I've floundered on for months! Thank you!!
My favourite painting of yours to date... Regal, powerful yet delicate at the same time. I'm in love 💛
I love this painting so much! My half brother was born in the year of the dragon. I think for Chinese people the year of the dragon is just extra special. Glad you found some inspiration from it.

"I come from Vietnam, and in my homeland, there are many female heroes. Your painting reminds me of them. I see and feel a lot from it."👍
Such a beautiful painting 🥹 One of my favorites for sure!🐉🐲🔥
I love every painting you do, even the ones you think are not perfect. You have a style that is so unique and all your own, and it's beautiful and special! Thank you for sharing. Also, your commentary is always so soothing to me for some reason. I love your perspective and thoughts on being an artist! 👍

I got CHILLS…it looks like a Chinese calligraphy painting come alive. It genuinely looks like the painting is moving within the frame that you created with the dragon’s bodies. Including the less rendered body of the dragon on the side is what gives it this sense of reanimating from 2d to 3d. And I love the blend of East Asian and Western influences. For example, asiatic dragons are usually more serpentine and western dragons look more like giant dinosaurs with wings. Including that was such a nice touch. And the music at the end 🙆 Epic.
Stunning, interpretable and gorgeously executed. in other words "I lv It"... 🤩
"The spark that gets you going"... Great analogy 👍
Absolutely stunning
Having watched several of your videos it is greatly appreciated that you're very honest about all that goes into painting. Being new to the community it's definitely not always dandy and fun. Many thanks!
This painting is 🔥 I love this painting! Wonderful job Alpay!
The skin tones are so real. Your skills are amazing. Thanks for the video.
WIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWW!!!! THAT IS A STUNNING PIECE, ALPAY! It's just so gorgeous! So happy for you! Thankyou for you advice and encouragement to us all. 😊
It’s a beautiful painting Sometimes less is more❤️❤️❤️
Danke für die Motivation!
A lot of work and talent mixed, cheers
Thanks for pointing out that you don't need some huge emotional concept to produce a great painting. Some KZread artists just get sooo caught up in documenting their personal angsty art journey that even though they are great painters, I've ended up losing interest in their channels. It was nice to hear the message to just take an idea and see where it goes. I haven't painted in years, but really wanted to get back to it. However, I just had some fun little ideas without deep symbolism - So I figured it wasn't worthwhile and put off starting them. I'm going to try to get some done this year. Just to see where it goes.
Thank you very much !!!! Is a sooo beautiful painting 🙏❤️💐
This video gave me chills. I love this piece
The Metalgreymon was so unexpected!!! I love it (sorry i'm a digimon fan and i got blown away so suddenly). Love your Year of the dragon painting

Amazing painting. Thanks for sharing
I watch you paint live. You’re brilliant.
This is the BEST masterpiece i have ever saw in my life ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This video got recommended to me and I just couldn't look away. As someone who wants to start with oil paints I truly appreciate the honesty behind the process, the insight of the artist's mind. It was very much needed. Thank you for being real for all of us.
Am I the only one who is thinking about how you travelled with a gorgeous oil painting 👀?
That is such a cool painting! Look forward to seeing your huge dragon canvas too! Totally agree. Dragons are super fun to paint.
This is so beautiful, both the painting and the process!
One of my favourite videos of yours Alpay! Loving your exploration of the realistic artist experience and of course the final painting is stunning

I absolutely adore the way you pain faces
I can never forget how hard you’ve worked to reach this point of painting competency. Slaving away for hours and hours, at first making practically no money only to build and build up to this point of success. You’re amazing! So talented and hardworking.
Absolutely beautiful!!❤
Absolutely stunning! You just get better and better which I don't know how that is possible... love everything about this.
Priory of the Orange Tree vibes! I love it and appreciate your storytelling as always

Beautiful painting
your art is super beautiful ♥
Your paintings are so beautiful.
You are more than just a painter in my opinion, you are also a beautifull philosopher
Love this piece
Stunning!
I'm glad for this video, I have been asked several times for the 'meaning' behind certain pieces and while I do have some meaningful art, for the most part, it is just things that are fun to me to paint! I'm also working on a Year of the Dragon inspired piece, yours is wonderful!
That's a beautiful painting 😮😮
Stunning ✨
I’m an artist I do create art and I do reasesrch, and it does tell a story and it does capture emotions of the artist.
What a beautiful painting!😊
Your stylish presentation is awesome ❤
Gorgeous! I personally really love to paint for the sake of painting without caring too much about the result
Beautiful.
Amazing!! Stunning painting, I LOVE it!
Really helpful to see this vid as an art student where conceptual weight is always emphasised thank you
Das ist so krass schön😭
Long time subscriber here! (Since your epic moon and clouds painting) All of your work is so great but this one stood out to me as particularly amazing! So much so I had to let you know :) I love your style and picked up so many “a-ha” moments from just listening and watching you paint. Thank you for sharing your work, your thoughts, and your process with us! Your hard work behind the scenes I’m sure at times may feel like thankless work but it is not for nothing, you inspire and motivate so many with your videos and thought out storytelling narratives and I hope you know that, we appreciate you!!❤
Wooooow it’s wonderful 😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This painting is gooorg! 🥹🙏🏻
Stunning ❤
I'm glad that you stay in your way of making videos. The more I think about it, for me you are the current Bob Ross. You got that vibe, but with your own style.
This is outstanding🙌🙌🙌
Amazing job! Your skill with the brush is as impressive as a Jedi with a lightsaber.
lovely
YOURE SOOO GOOD AT WHATT YOU DOOOOOO OMG
Wow! Amazing skills! thank you for sharing with us. after 11:00 there is the moment of transformation when you start layering! brilliant work!
haha! Exactly 0:38 People forget...art serves as a tool for relaxation, creativity and just being passionate about creating something. Too many people 'imagine' there is always a hidden meaning or something behind it. A lot of my digital art pieces are just something I wanted to do and took all of a minute to decide on- the initial idea. As I work, the idea can take a different form as I cannot visualize, but usually I don't like thinking about some big piece of information behind a piece. I like your work. Well done.
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE painting! It is absolute PERFECTION! When I get to nearing the end of a painting I have to first, walk away. Leave it be for about a week or so. Turn the painting to the wall if you need to continue working, but a break is a good idea. After that, you WILL come back to it with fresh eyes. You may immediately see what needs to be done to finally sign the painting. Other times, you may have to try different views of the painting in order to see if something needs correcting (hue, value, chroma). After ALL THAT, comes my "WTF?" test. If you've done everything you needed to do, and you're still uncertain whether it's done, take a critical eye across your entire painting, and ask yourself if at any place you think "WTF?" I've found this to be rather effective, because it takes the emotion out of it. As we know, it's at this *fiddly* point where overworking might very well ruin it. FINALLY, after everything is DONE, sign it, put the brush down, and slowly back away. WELL DONE, Alpay!👏👏👏👏👏
I have to admit this was very suspenseful! When he started working on it again from home I thought it was going to be ruined : ( but it turned out amazing : ) Just Beautiful!!!
It was great to see the process in this video (and the end result) after watching you start the initial stages at Creative World. And it's refreshing to just watch a great painting come to live, instead of forcing a story or meaning into it. Art for the sake of enjoying making it 🙌🏼
5:47 Metal Greymon.... Also, you're amazing at what you do.
