Paint Your PC Components (Vol. 2)

- Remember my original "Paint Your PC Components" video from back in the day (Ok, maybe more like five months ago)? I've decided to revisit this topic for our new subscribers, and keep the quality top-notch. Be sure to check out Vol. 1 as well! Enjoy.
DISCLAIMER: Permanent paint will void any warranty. Additionally, I am by no means a painting expert. I understand that I likely broke several "painting laws" in this video, but nonetheless, the results are still satisfactory and to my liking. If you desire a 100% refined and professional finish, this video isn't for you. If, however, you're looking for a clean, quick, and concise result, I encourage you to give this a try. Just keep the warranty thing in mind, unless you decide to use Plasti-Dip as I have in the past.

  • @ThEMarD

Heyyo Greg, so I'm thinking of painting my parts white and doing RGB lighting like you did since this turned out amazing for you... but I'm feeling like a wuss since I'm worried about warranty so I was thinking of trying it with a type of paint that's removable... I know Plastidip is removable but it's rubberized and acts like an insulator so it's not the best choice. By chance can you recommend a type of paint that is removable in case I need to claim warranty that won't act as a rubberized insulator? Or do you think a rubberized insulator won't make too much of a difference?

Dude thank you I have a gigabyte gtx 1060 OC Model GV-N1060G1 and it was a b**** trying to get everything apart. Did not want to reseat GPU but it made me due to factory potions of screws and power connectors. Dumb.... I am still taking mine apart right now trying to replace fans and your video helped me so much and was the only one out there remotely close to mine. Everyone else has a easy "Johnny 5 Disassemble" but no, not mine... Grrrrr. Thank you had to apply some force like you said to pull up the heat sink. Also my screws to release heat sinks are on bottom and the front of the card, not the side like everyone else says in there videos, took me for ever to find it. o.o

Nice F-18 wrist band, planning on aviation after college? Also, I bet it would be far more tedious, but less technical to just dry brush the graphics card instead of spray painting it.

Super old video. It's plasti-dip. It's a cheap and quick job. Not meant to look or last like OEM.
