I had the honor of watching Maestro Goryachev, live last year in a small church in Zurich, in a great setting.I've listened to and watched a lot of top guitar players,and I'm guitarist myself, but this is an another level. People were stunned. The guitarist who performed before him was laughing like a little kid with pleasure ... An incredible level of playing ...

he played for my guitar class in high school. it was surreal cuz we could all tell he was a true master of his craft. and he was in the middle of nowhere playing for high schoolers. we gave him a standing ovation of course

Try Paco Peña. He's also more espressive. But he's 78 now. He's more classical in his approach of flamenco, and has a very clean technique.

I know a lot gets lost in translation and words and phrases that make sense in one language do not translate well to another language. But what did you mean about showing off houses? I didn't understand this part. And you say you listen to Grisha you are listening to Paco? How? They have a totally differnt style and attack and sound. The only thing in common is that Grisha is covering a song by Paco de Lucia,.. The playing is totally different... I am not trying to start an argument with you, I just want to understand what you are trying to say my friend.. But if you are saying that Grisha is just a copy of paco? Well yes paco de lucia wrote these songs and the composer will always get first credit. Also I think paco de lucia playing makes me feel more then grisha, more emotional response.. But technical guitar, I think Grisha is superior in my opinion.. If they could sit in the same room and play guitar together, There will be only one composer (Paco) because Grisha has admitted that he is not a good composer.. But in playing technically I think even Paco will say "Me Amigo" "You play like a Beast" Sorry for the long message I just wanted you to explain your comment to me

El tío es un puto fiera, y quien lo niegue es sólo envidia. Ruso sí, pero con toda la sangre flamenca en sus venas, un virtuoso excepcional. Envidia me da, casi todos estos genios ya lo eran de pequeños, hay un talante natural (sin contar con eso del "duende", que no me lo creo) que hace que gente desde chavales sean genios. Grisha no es la excepción, podéis ver vídeos suyos de niño ya deslumbrando, igual que casi todos los dioses de la guitarra. Yo empecé tarde, llevo muchos años, jamás llegaré a este virtuosismo, pero no importa, disfruto con ello. Olé Grisha, sigue brilllando con tu toque.

que puedo decir el es un gran guitarrista un virtuoso pero sangre flamenca no tiene lo que el hace es aprenderse las cnaciones de memoria pero ponle aplaudidores y no va a poder improvisar algo como lo harian otros guitarristas flamencos esto no es una critica hacia Grisha pues lo escucho todos los dias es mi idolo pero para justificar

I too saw him live, these videos are excellent but do not convey the superb quality of his play. Paco had just passed when I saw him and the performance was entirely a tribute to him (Grisha his former student), Paco would have been proud, it was a fabulous performance ✌️👏⭐️👍

There are not many people on the world who can play Pacos songs, let alone with that much ease and feel, you deserve a lot of respect!

It took me 5 years to learn my first ever palo in flamenco. I have no source for learning flamenco. I had been struggling for almost 4 years to play atleast one palo of bulerias since I was 19. Finally after so many years of not giving up and returning to play guitar with a hope that someday the fire of flamenco will be lit by my fingers I have achieved my first palo ever.

@@KMT9999 I've heard that there are more flamenco dance and music schools in Japan than in Spain. Its fascinating that an oriental country, with it's own vast culture and tradition, embraced a foreign art form in such degree...

There are precious few guitarists in the world who can play Paco de Lucia's tunes and hold their own, but Grisha is certainly among them. Amazing performance on beautiful instrument - love that green binding!

Not only a fantastic re-creation of a technically difficult performance, but he's emulating the sound of three different instruments here. De Lucia's main guitar parts, but also oud (1:15, 4:18) and simultaneous lead/rhythm guitar in a few spots (4:04).

Funny that I think exactly the opposite. I mean, everything is perfect except specifically the part of the "oud" which he plays quite dully, compared to how Paco accents these parts heavily with the thumb

it's his closest performance to Paco. Nearly indistinguishable from Paco. It's a rare occurence. No one in the world comes close to Paco except this guy.

Grisha Goryachev is one of the best guitar players i have ever seen!!!

From 4:28 is just insane. Grisha just makes possible to enjoy Paco de Lucia's work with quality videos, because Paco de Lucia's videos are usually very old.

There is no question that it was a clean and well delevered perfomance And that the sound of that guitar was no less then perfect I loved it !

I don't care what anyone says. This guy definitely played guitar before.

Ole! Very refreshing to hear Paco's Almoraima played "by the book" so to speak. Very clean play, every accent hit precisely, no timing rushed or delayed. Extremely impressive play. I applaud you, sir!

I've watched this like 30 times in less than a week. Or more. I never knew of grisha or paco de Lucia before; I just play the chaconne every day and never had gotten into flamenco. Thanks for hosting grisha and introducing me to his playing!

You know it's great when it makes you yell OLEEE!!! Grisha did a fantastic job. truly grateful for being able to see and listen how Grisha evolves. People should check him playing monasterio del sal - there is nothing similar like it.

My wife is a really incredible guitarist and can memorize pieces on the instrument very quickly... So once, when we were teens, I had had a particularly bad day and couldn't sleep that night. So, knowing how much I love classical music, she learned this piece and sat next to my bed playing it all night until I fell asleep. I can't listen to it without getting a little teary-eyed now.

Intentar tocar estás piezas es dificilísimo, y mucho más para alguien no criado en ambiente flamenco. Hace años, cuando lo veía en KZread, se perdía un poco en el compás pero a fuerza de duro trabajo veo que lo ha ido corrigiendo. Un currante. Bravo por Goryachev, por ser fiel y valorar ese flamenco más puro de Paco de Lucía.

Русские слишком много рефлексируют по поводу стоимости гитары, её изготовления, типом навивки и материала струн, шлифовкой ногтей. Слишком много внимания технологии. Совершенно забивая на то, что Музыка - это чувства и эмоции, экспрессия и исполнительское мастерство.

Выбор продукции велик, на любые сорта и качество. Эксперименты над самосовершенствованием звука, как только профессиональный музыкант закончит поиск своего звука, так душа вернётся, а с ней и всё остальное: чувства и эмоции, экспрессия и исполнительское мастерство. Появятся снова Пако де Люсиа, Сеговия и все остальные...
