Founded in 1983, Guitar Salon International (GSI) is the world’s largest dealer of concert-level classical and flamenco guitars. For over 35 years now, we serve players, collectors and aficionados by offering the best hand-built instruments of leading young guitar makers as well as those of established historical masters. In this process, we acquire and sell many of the most desirable instruments in history, and we subsequently help to assemble important private collections. With the involvement of top concert artists (including Pepe Romero, Scott Tennant, Marc Teicholz, Andrew York and others), GSI showcases several exceptional guitars through audio, video, studio-CD and live concert recordings.
Guitar Salon International established the GSI Foundation in 2011 after receiving public donations aimed at community development. The Foundation’s mission is to help develop the local community by raising money to support music education in public schools.

This is amazing. It brought me to the point of tears.
The story on the piece is interesting: Stromness is a fishing village in the south of Scotland. Uranium deposits were found in the area nd a company was going to setup a mine to extract that uranium. The people in the are were concerned that this would destroy the landscape and the area so they started a protest. The composer Maxwell Davies was inspired to compose a suite (for piano). This movement - "Farewell to Stromness" - is supposed to evoce the image of people leaving Stromness not knowing whether they will ever return ... so the solemn tone and the 'walking cadence' on the D-string. In real life, the people never had to leave, they won their case and the mine was never constructed.
Bortolozzo guitar looks and sounds spectacular!!!❤
Sheet note please????
Excellent performance with an excellent technic and nuance. Plus, the guitar sound was excellent .
Now i am listening to a giant guitarist with an excellent technic and nuance. Besides, the guitar had definitely a diamond sound. Thanks for uploading.
Dam. I don’t know whats more beautiful, her or the song. But jeez what a combo. Talk about love at first sight.
It seems to be a very small guitar !
The absolute best rendition I have ever heard, I am speechless and selling all my guitars.

Small hands, but a ton of determination. Beautifully executed. Maybe the best tremolo I've ever heard. Pure emotion❤. From where Barrios is right now, he's smiling.
Beautiful!

😧😧😧 perfect ✨🤘❤️🕊
Wow ! Fantastically played!!!
WOW!!!
Thank you ❤
Senor Luis, You play beautifully with a wonderfully fluidic sound. I have never heard that particular prelude from Tarrega, one of my favorite composers. Gracias, Frederick "Rik" Spector
Hello. I have the Schott edition version and your transcription is even better. The fingerings seem a bit more feasible too. I love your version, it's so warm and melodic. Thanks for your talent and dedication!
Great playing, however the instrument seems to lack the dynamic range of a concert guitar.
Krachtige en overtuigende interpretatie!
For a perfect counterpoint to this beautiful rendition, I recommend the third movement cover on electric guitar by Tina S: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oWqmpK1pctSyYto.html
Presti is a real good composer i.m.o. Well played, very beautiful tone.
Great interpretation of this piece, I loved the slow but deliberate way it was played 🎶🎵🤤
