You might not believe this....the less keywords I use the more looks I get on Ebay. If I load up a search with keywords Ebay will show me a tennis racket...I'm not kidding. Their search is crazy

I've got a LOT of theories about the ebay algorithm, but I think we've been so trained by Poshmark to put EVERYTHING into the search bar - because you have to. That is to say, he poshmark search algorithm is pretty terrible. eBay's search algorithm functions a lot more like it should - closer to google, and prioritizes grouped keywords - I'm framing out a whole video on SEO and keywording, and this'll be something I get into...

So I have full slips, half slips, night gowns, dressing gowns, robes and house dresses that belonged to both of my grandmothers. My Mamaw wore her robes before/after taking a bath and her dressing gowns were worn if or when she was getting ready to go somewhere. My Mema wore house dresses or zip up terry cloth robes. I love all of my pieces that belonged to them. I always buy these if I come across them while thrifting.

The Liberty Prints that J Crew did (popover style) sold like crazy a few years ago. They were a huge Bolo. Ive found vintage Lilly before (actually “The Lilly”) Cool 70’s Hostess maxi dresses, which sold really well. I just found a current Lilly that is a maxi strapless, with a cutout at the waist with actual shells going all the way around. Im excited to see what it goes for!

Welp, finding a "The Lilly" maxi hostess dress has officially been added to my thrifting bucket list. Doubly so in my size - I'm in LOVE!!! Liberty anything is still a great BOLO - not as hot as it was a few years ago, but it still goes for a great price!

Yes for Moving Comfort Fiona bra and Brooks for running bras! Just found one at the thrift and I was so happy.

That housecoat looks so close to the one my parents bought for me. I needed things for my freshmen year, 1976, in the dorm. We went the huge Sears Outlet near us to buy these things. I wore that housecoat for many years. My now ex-husband, (Married 1984), nicknamed me "Scooter," because when I would get up on a cold morning I would have that on, with big, quilted, red bootie slippers, and my hands clasped in front of my chest scooting around the house until I was warm enough to move around. How sexy. BTW, I still move like that, 40 years later, but much slower, and with more moans and groans. What a sexy newlywed. Well, I did warm up, eventually.

OH, I love this so much. As a bona fide fluffy robe person who grew up in a very old house, I can totally relate. I used to sit on the radiator while I ate my breakfast in my fluffy robe until the chill left me. I still have blankets stashed in all corners of the house...just in case!

Let us know if and when you do! They're so nice - a smaller brand, for sure, but DEFINITELY sought after, and the quality is just a dream - one of those brands you need to physically feel to really understand it.

I sold almost the exact Lilly Pulitzer dress, except it had white piping around it! It took awhile to sell, but I purchased it in November so that's understandable!

OMG it was so bad. SO SO BAD. I could barely hear myself think! I managed to cut out the edging work that sounded like someone cutting through metal, so that's a tiny victory...

I've only ever found 1 Lilly dress, and it sold fast on eBay for like $60!

So strange! Definitely get those relisted, and see if some of them pop off now that it's warming up - there's a lot out there, I think, so get them to the top of listings ASAP!

Fresh produce is big in the Florida area. It sells well but like you say not for Tom of money. Lilly Pulitzer is not selling fast for me I have things sitting a long time. Thx for the great video . Susie

Oh, interesting! The Fresh Produce stuff is so so nice. Interesting that Lilly isn't moving, BUT for most of the country, they're just shaking off the winter, so keep an eye on it - hopefully it starts moving as the temps rise!

I love seeing the amazing items you find at the bins!!!! Is POL a good brand to sell? Still a newbie at the bins. I usually see 1-2 POL items when I go.

You'll be a pro in absolutely no time! POL is a boutique brand, and most pieces don't sell for all too much, BUT I wouldn't hesitate to pick up something that's got a lot going for it - a more substantial piece or fabric (i.e. linen, etc.) or a more ornate piece - but keep to the bins for sourcing it until you've got a bit more of a comfort level in what you can expect for different types of pieces.

OOOOOH! They are EXTREMELY expensive. Like 5-600 per item retail. I'd start at about 60-70 per item and up! They're, for sure, on my thrifting bucket list - what an AMAZING find!!!
