I'm sorry for your loss, but I must disagree. I lost my only son, Jan. 23, 2022, at the age of 20. He had just turned 20 Christmas Day 2021. Lost my Dad a Veitnam Veteran at 76 this November, and yes, it was hard, but nothing compared to burying my son. I swear to you, I never knew pain or depression until the day his heart stopped, but yet mine kept beating. A large part of me died that day, too. Still struggle with just even feeling happiness or joy from feeling so guilty for feeling it when he's not here to feel it.

Artist Avouch golly that's about around the same time we lost our Dad ! He was our fosterfather ,but was more our Dad than anyone else - & a few hours before he died we ate our last (fish) tv dinner ( which in my mind might as well have been the holy last supper in a way cause it was the last supper he would ever be present for ever again even before we were finished eating he took his last trip to the hospital on the night of 12/5/98 & died about 1:20 am 12/6/98 & the month after we lost him I saw him in my dreams & I marveled at him & told him just how great he looked & he said "If you think I look great you should see your mother!" & Then I woke up & deeply cried into my pillow missing him!!

I lost mine to covid September 5th 2021, found him myself and I wish that on no man or woman, he was my rock and stone, we always have each other I promise, regardless if we know each other or not, it'll always be a part of us and it'll either break us or make us, we got this I promise, it may never get easier but we can make it, we have to for them, and also mine passed at 56, lost my best friend at 30 years old

Thanks for sharing your hard time with me it helps to know I’m not alone in feeling this pain and keep in touch sometime I don’t know how I’m going to make it he was my go to for advice in life and I feel he was taken to soon.

I also just lost my little brother in law who I knew since he was 11 he passed from at freak heart attack in his sleep at 30 years old.
