I lost my dad in January. He was so independent, started going down hill. Caught his face on fire smoking with oxygen on. He had COPD and Emphysema, plus many other heart related problems. It was a couple hospital stays before he passed away in our home, on hospice. It hurts my heart so bad everyday, but I just keep telling myself he's not in any pain anymore.

First time hearing this song. My husband went home to heaven 2 months ago. He was an oilfield fisherman, a hard working man, with a tough outer shell But he had a soft heart. Few knew that to be true. Thankful, I am one. He loved all of our Sons and in his last days on this earth, he made sure to tell us, how proud he was of all five of our boys, who have grown to be great men. I will forever be grateful to God, for bringing us all together. .❤ Love lives on. .❤

I never met my dad till I was 16.. Been through hell and back. Homeless when I was 17.. grinded everyday to become a better man from no job, car, home, friends, family wasn't around, no licence, dropped outta high school because I couldn't stay clean or dress nice enough for kids to not bully me. Got everything now I didnt have before, finished school got a job, got a car amd have a very good and stable home and alot of friends i call family that care very much for me because of music made by people like you to help get me by. I'm 24 now and just had a baby girl wirh my incredible fiance and I'd do anything for my beautiful little princess, I know I'll do everything I can but I pray my kid(s) will look up to me and think of me as the world for she and her momma are already mine. Hey brother. I'm sure your comment is going to get lost here over time, but I've seen it. My old man took his life a little over 2 years ago. Just 2 months after my daughter was born. Believe me when I say you're loved and your family needs you. Don't be ashamed to seek help if you need it. Boys do cry, and that's fine. (Hurt me a little to write that, as I was raised much like most men "boys don't cry" and it's taken years to break that mold)

I grew up without a Father. So many walk that same path of life, never knowing the TRUE guidance a Father can provide, the sense of protection, the unwavering love a Father is supposed to extend to his children. It only got harder once I had children of my own, HOW do I be a Father, when I don’t even know what it means…so many abandon their children asking that same question to themselves. God changed everything, God began showing me what it meant to love, to care, to nurture…but not just my children, but those around me “thy neighbor”. I realized I knew no Father, just so I could come to know THE FATHER, when the time was right 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 We are going to have “Moments of Uncertainty” But that is not as important as the element you use to relieve yourself. Many followers of Christ are still indulging in our vices and addictions to relieve our “Uncertainties” Lean on God in your darkest moments, lean on the word that says you were created with meaning and purpose, lean on the Grace of God…let it steady your mind, your heart and your body. I don’t know who I’m writing to, who’s reading this, but God is ready, and waiting for you to seek him, through Jesus Christ, whom he sent to die the death meant for you and I. Not just on Sunday, not just when you “need” him, not just when you’re desperate…but every day, hour, minute and second of your life. Develop consistency in Christ, and you will come to know what it means to “Be still, and know, that he is God” Glory be to God 🩸🩸🩸 If I still have you here, God bless you, join me as I take you inside a moment of my own personal “Uncertainty” in life, while never forgetting God has me always 🙏🏽🕊 kzread.info/dash/bejne/iIyaubOtqNHdocY.html 🙌🏽🩸

I miss my Daddy every single day. I have struggled with it harder than anything in my entire life. Loosing him could have easily turned me into a monster. Instead, I let it turn me into the best version of myself and he’d be so proud! I kept my word and kept the land, I’m an awesome Momma to his beautiful granddaughter. He was so in love with everything about her! I am very healthy and proud of myself as well. Fast forward, 6 years later.. Just last month, on the anniversary of his death, 4 days before my birthday, I flat out ACED the NREMT. (A HUGE, EXCRUCIATING, and extremely TERRIFYING test you have to pass, to become an EMT. It must be done t a National level of competency before you can get a state license) September 26th will FOREVER be a day I won’t forget!! What used to be the worst day of my life, is now one of the greatest days to celebrate, right along with my Dad’s memory! My Birthday no longer stings either. I received my state license on that day. Praise to God for allowing me to transform the dread of that time into a beautifully welcomed memory, for the rest of my life. I’ve never felt more honor in my heart!! To have been given the gift to change a bad day forever.

What an amazing song. My mother passed 5/20/18 and my father 25 days later on 6/15. I guess after 68 years of marriage, "till death do you part" has some meanings. I'm blessed to have had him and mom for my 48 years and learned so much from him. Humble about being a WWII veteran, loving, and always laughing. Every line of the song reminds me of him, and the excitement of sharing with him. I still pick up the phone when something great happens- then I just pray and I figure - he was there. Keep up the good work and look forward to you out on the road Tyler Wood!

An early riser, always-on-timer A back breaker, giver not a taker Made sure nothin' was missin' So we could have everything you didn't A patient teacher, strong steady leader Firm hand shaker, never meet a stranger Tough as steel, heart of gold It took a while, but now I know All the little life lessons But you never expected A thank you, a pat on the back You did what you did, no questions asked I could say never enough through the downs and the ups You carried the weight so we'd have a good life Raised us with love So we could fly Anyone else would call you Superman But I just call you Dad A spirit lifter, problem fixer Words of reason There when you need 'em Calm you down, set you straight Yeah, I appreciate All the little life lessons But you never expected A…

Its been two years now, since my superman went to Heaven, tonight is the first time I did not cry listening to this song, and just listened and realized how blessed I was to have such an amazing father..Pop you will always be my Superman!! I do not know how I would be a good father to my girls if I did not have you as the highest benchmark! Tell Mama and Papa Hello from me. YOU will always be my hero!!!

I've been a widow for 8 1/2 years and have watched my children and grandchildren grieve my husband. He was only 60 years 😢 I recently lost my Dad February 17th after an unexpected illness. He was 82 years old. He was in the process of building a new house for him and my Mom. They were high school sweethearts married 63 years, 5 children, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was the Patriarch of Our Family and we are heartbroken 💔. I am now trying to be strong for my Mom as she is now in a group we never wanted to be in. WIDOWHOOD 😪

Sounds like my dad!! When mom died at 33 dad trained me early, I grew up real damn fast. All the way to Baghdad back to US soil. Thank you 🙏 Dad!!! For showing he how to be a Expert on the Rifle range in the Core. Three tours later, I came back and he still had that firm shake. Myself and brother were over there 👉 at the same time, he had our back high in the sky when we would call in for Air support.

My dad has been there for me no matter what. I’m glad I have the father I have! He was hard on me and put his foot down when he needed to. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be the man I am now. I’ll send him this song on Father’s Day. Love you dad ❤️

When my oldest son 17 years old at the time came to me on his 17th birth day and asked me to go to a Us marine recruitment office with him to sign up for the Marines I cried like a broken hearted baby because I was so afraid of losing him. It was very hard for me but he assured me that he be ok I caved Joshua is his name out of the Bible the book of Joshua he served our country with honor he made me feel so proud I held my head up and felt like I was right there with him well he was more with me in my thoughts and prayers and my mind but none of this compairs to what God gave up for the whole world he gave us his only son Jesus we should all be thankful for God's sacrifice to us and for us thank you Tyler this song means a lot to me

Through him I will raise my daughter and I hope and pray I'm half the man and father he was. This song is amazing and hit a nerve. Thank you
