Lol hold up I knew I wasn’t trippin when I saw the test drive clip, that’s the public storage on 290 before Fairbanks. I’d recognize that any day, I been driving that stretch of 290 my whole life 😂

The best way to remove the lambda sensor from the cast iron exhaust manifold is to heat the cast iron manifold near the sensor from several sides, if the sensor is broken, cut the wire and carefully unscrew the sensor with a long hex key, if you use a split key, which is more suitable for installing a new sensor, you can turn the edges of the sensor round.

I understand that with bank 1 sensor 1, I need an upstream but when buying the sensor, is the passenger side left or right.

Nice video. I am just a little frustrated with the BANK 1 and BANK 2 information. I have seen posts and diagrams stating the opposite. BANK1 "Driver side" and BANK2 "Passanger". Are you 100% sure about your diagram? I have a F150 2014 3.5L 6 cylinders. Thanks

Doing the exact same thing on my 2013 F150. Bank 1 sensor 1. I made up a whole bunch of new cuss words just getting the connector off. Gave up on removing the sensor for the night. Going to take heat to get mine off. I have to take breaks when I get angry otherwise the big hammer comes out. Bad things happen when the big hammer comes out. It is amazing just how much angst can get caused by a single plug and a connector.

was super easy out in 2mins grab a torch heat up to 300 degrees then use sensor socket and strong arm and unscrew from pipe the plug was a bitch as its hidden on top of transmissions i cut the old with side cutters then it was much easier to remove plug

ive had some misfire issues in the past with my 05 150, new plugs and coils and the problem went away. Just came back yesterday but worse now. Im gonna check cylinder 5 as thats what came up as misfiring, check plug, and then if thats good im going to look into doing these. Anyone with similar issues with answers??? My check engine light only came on this time around with new plugs, never the old.
