im trying to work this but the other way around. clocking the pam and trying to send start and stop to it. do i need the same Y trs cable to achieve that? i can sync the pam with the midi out but cant start stop it. thx!
How does it handle an irregular or variable clock? is it approximating a Bpm based on the analog input or is it truly advancing with each input pulse like an analog sequencer would?

It tries to run at the average tempo. It doesn’t run like an analog sequencer since it has to internally calculate it for the internal tasks.
