This OXI One Tutorial continues our previous Chord Mode Basic, which covered the basics of this excellent sequencer mode. It explores all the options in the step parameter menus, chord arpeggiator, internal modulation, and more.
The tutorial starts with an overview of the Additional Step Parameters. To access the Step Submenu, double-tap the STEP CHORD button. You can access various parameters in the step submenu, such as Strum, Trigger Probability, Retrig, and Offset.
Next, the video covers the built-in arpeggiators in Chord Mode. Remember to press play and then the ARP button when in keyboard view and turn the first encoder to enable the arpeggiator. If you press SHIFT + HOLD, you will not have to hold down a pad to play the arp. Note that the arp in Sequencer view uses the notes already in the sequencer.
The video concludes with info and inspiration on using OXI One's internal modulation sources, LFO and MOD, to bring more life to your chords.
