I’m from anambra and As far as I’m concerned, Owerri is a beautiful and green city, roads may not be in perfect shape but atleast it’s better than most roads taken over by sand and dust in anambra. I don’t even understand why we hype anambra so much with all the billionaires we have. Awka millennium city should have been sold out by now and houses all over. Igbos are busy clearing bushes for Yoruba people in lagos and other parts of Nigeria. See so much empty lands that if it was lagos they for don buy am finish. if the governor was a sensible human being he’ll make most of those green lands parks for people to relax and boost tourism. And resurface all these roads that are in bad condition, create walkways like soludo is doing in anambra. If care is not taken all the south eastern states will leave imo state behind. It shows the governor is just like gburugburu that left the roads and infrastructures in Enugu to rot away. I believe imo state needs a governor that’s intentionally so that development will spread across the state. Most important thing is the roads are not filled up with dust and sand like anambra and it’s really annoying.

An imo man will just sit down to claim Anambra just to praise his slum Owerri lol How can you compare a glorified village Owerri to developed city of Onitsha or the beautiful city of Awka? It is obviously clear you didn’t watch this video. In this video the true situation of Owerri was exposed, most of the roads in Owerri are dilapidated, muddy, sandy and disgusting. Owerri is a dirty shithole that shouldn’t be called a state capital. Awka has 3 flyovers but Owerri has non functioning, Awka has super highways but Owerri has none, Awka has ICC but Owerri has none, Awka has so many estates but Owerri has none, Awka has the worldclas Awka millennium city but Owerri has nothing close to that. How on earth would you now start comparing such Owerri village to a progressive city like Awka ? Onitsha is another great city where millions of imo indigenes see as their abroad. Onitsha is hosting over 2m population of imo people, but you can never find one Anambra indigene living in imo state , this is something imo state should worry about. Owerri should be demolished and rebuilt if imo state ever wish to have a befitting state capital. This video has exposed all the lies by other bloggers that only go to Wetheral road and bypass 90% of Owerri that messed up with dilapidated muddy roads. Imo state governors present and subsequent need to wake up. There is a lot to be done. Owerri is one of the best planned cities in the South East region and all it needs is finishing touches. It has a modern look and feel already but the governors don’t seem to know or even treasure what they have in their hands. All major roads should be fixed completely with pedestrian walkways, parking zones/public car parks, trees, road signs, road markings, street lights and traffic lights. A central bus station needs to be constructed. Public water supply needs to be provided like it was during Achike Udenwa government. The 2 flyovers along that Amakohia/Orji like road should be fixed and the road reconstructed. World bank/Umuguma area, New Owerri/Nekede old road area (with internal roads), Naze link road through ishiuzo and Naze inner roads should be fixed to standard as these are new areas that will develop quickly. There should also be a zero pothole policy. Social housing should be provided as well as standard schools and hospitals too. This is a state that could easily be a tourism hotspot in Nigeria. A lot needs to be done. All it needs is finishing touches. The foundation has been laid already.

I am from imo state but let’s say the truth for once after watching the video I felt pity for my imo state, to be sincere OWERRI is a disorganized filthy shithole. Enugu, Onitsha, Abakaliki, Awka, Asaba, even Umuahia looks better than Owerri. What has our leaders been doing in imo state? OWERRI is our pride in imo state but unfortunately it is the worst state capital even some poor northern states have better state capitals. OWERRI has been over run by bad roads, very dusty and filthy, no it’s raining season almost everywhere in OWERRI is potopoto. Okorocha wasted 8yrs building nonsense that collapsed almost immediately he left office. Now uzodimma has completely failed in delivering any key infrastructure in the state. OWERRI is a pigsty ghetto and does not have any semblance of a state capital. Look at the type of muddy bad roads in a state capital. Imo state has a very long way to go . Anambra and Enugu are the two outstanding states we have in Igboland

@deblixcode6848 1 day ago Owerri fine pass this my state, no proper plan like this in Anambra. Soludo is still constructing tiny roads with no space for trees or grass. Owerri people de enjoy, no touts for road, no keke. Keke people don use scratching finish my car for here

Just look at dirty glorified village they are hyping . Look at the dilapidated muddy roads. They can’t even sweet the roads, sand everywhere. Owerri should be one of the most backward state capitals in Nigeria

An imo man will just sit down to claim Anambra just to praise his slum Owerri lol How can you compare a glorified village Owerri to developed city of Onitsha or the beautiful city of Awka? It is obviously clear you didn’t watch this video. In this video the true situation of Owerri was exposed, most of the roads in Owerri are dilapidated, muddy, sandy and disgusting. Owerri is a dirty shithole that shouldn’t be called a state capital. Awka has 3 flyovers but Owerri has non functioning, Awka has super highways but Owerri has none, Awka has ICC but Owerri has none, Awka has so many estates but Owerri has none, Awka has the worldclas Awka millennium city but Owerri has nothing close to that. How on earth would you now start comparing such Owerri village to a progressive city like Awka ? Onitsha is another great city where millions of imo indigenes see as their abroad. Onitsha is hosting over 2m population of imo people, but you can never find one Anambra indigene living in imo state , this is something imo state should worry about. Owerri should be demolished and rebuilt if imo state ever wish to have a befitting state capital. This video has exposed all the lies by other bloggers that only go to Wetheral road and bypass 90% of Owerri that messed up with dilapidated muddy roads. Owerri is a glorified village and worst state capital in southern Nigeria.

Please did you actually watch this video ? lol the truth be told Owerri is an unplanned glorified village compare to Enugu, Awka or Onitsha. Bunch of useless imo people claiming Anambra.
