Overlanding & Fishing at Eastern Sierras
In This video , we explored highway 168 from bishop. We were able to catch some fish at intake 2 and we went on exploring and found this beautiful disbursed campground of Buttermilk trail.

I don't know if you were aware, I wasn't, but I just found out this year that a permit is required to have a camp fire that's good for a year. You take a simple test online, basically answer safety questions until you get the right answers. I think it's because of the liabilities due t all the forest fires California had in recent years.

Good to know Do you know where I can get one? I remember I got one 20 years ago but I don’t remember where I got it .

Ya it snows in heavy and they close it . Should be I open soon tho
Shouldn’t drive off trail man. Digging up mud will only get it shut down..not to mention the damage to the landscape.

You are completely right , but I was alone and with family didn’t want to take the chance and I followed old tire tracks that was already there .
