Finally a good adventure that us common adventurers can afford to do. I love y'all's channel but man I liked it when you guys did adventures the rest of us can do. Instead of the ones that would cost an arm and a leg and several kidneys to go on. Do some more of these kinds of adventures please
That was the most enjoyable video I've watched in long time. Well done gentlemen.
Fly fishing in MT with my dad are some of my best memories!
Love it. Caught my first fish on fly over 30 years ago, and became completely addicted. More a swoffa these days but trout fishing gin clear waters like that brings back so many fond memories... thank you, all the way from Australia 😊
Nice stuff! Outdoors, camping, fishing, and friendships. Keep up the great content
This is getting me excited about my upcoming trip to the Smokies!
That was great! When you Squealed, "I'm Excited!"...You sounded exactly like the Old JEFF! Good Memories of the old Crews! Cathleen
Literally a dream vacation for me. Wish I could take a lump some from my va disability and actually get a setup like that. That trailer is so badass. Went on a fishing trip for 3 days with my son in my 4Runner pro and it was the most unorganized, sandy/muddy mess sleeping in the back of it. To top it off I only caught gar. Love the videos but this one in particular is the best.
Great video… just thinking of the fishing challenge on the Alaskan trip with the Doc. Here the fly rod wins in the end.
I'm not from the US but I worked at MSU in Bozeman for a while. I love Montana 😊
This video was great. My daughter caught her first fish on the fly yesterday and that feeling is impossible to recreate

That is awesome!
Awesome video! Perfect after a long day at work 😊
It's not easy. It's basically all in the feel. I snapped many lines by not bringing the line back at the right time. Once I got the hang of it I loved it more than using my old spin rod. Plus fishing for wild fish in beautiful back county is unbeatable.
I used 2 go fishing with Papa! Been a while since I've done that! Nice video, guys! Hope U guys R doing ok!
What a crazy coincidence Andy pulls up just as they are talking about flyfishing
Pretty damn good video! My stepdad taught me to make Fly's and we made a bunch just never got to fly fish with him. I'm still want to and need to get out west and do it!
Really enjoyed this video, great job guys!!

Thanks so much!
Awesome video! I’m the opposite of you guys haha. I’ve been fly fishing my whole life for native brook trout on the east coast and striped bass, but I want to get into overlanding and offroading to get to remote spots and camp/fly fish. Once you get the hang of fly fishing it’s like riding a bike.

That’s the truth!
Lol I rolled my truck coming back from that lake 7 or so weeks ago! I love that area but super dangerous road- people come flying around the bends taking up the whole road. I got too close to the edge trying to avoid hitting someone and the bank gave out from under me 😭
Amazing video. Fly fishing is one of the most peaceful things. I've can think of doing. I take my son salmon fishing and upstate New York every year. It it's a blast. One question now. I seem to remember a long time back seeing a video. And You mentioned your faith. Are you guys Christians? And if so what are you doing for the Kingdom? Just curious.
Brendan needs to learn which side of the air filter to pound on the tire...
Hey guys. Did you know the Patriot ladder is extendable? Great video.

We did but it broke in Iceland and haven’t had a chance to address it yet. 😂

@@Tanner_Johnson lol. All good. We were yelling at the screen, “ it’s extendable”. 🤣
I have been flyfishing for 35 years and still don't consider myself at an expert or advanced level. Just love seeing a trout rise to take a fly and I lose all interest in what the outside world is doing while on a trout stream.
First!!! 🎉🎉🎉 hehe
Rooftop tent on a topper? Is it enforced or just on some rails (Yakima rails/crossbar situation)? I would love to put a tent ontop of my topper but afraid to do it due to fiberglass. I already have rails and crossbars.

The topper is reinforced from Leer with Thule crossbars! 10 months of rough roads and weather with no issues. The weight rating is the reason that I chose the GFC Superlite
Any chance you’d share name of location for a local??
