Outcast 4s v2 Steering Problems? Here's the Fix!

Hey Guys hope your all staying awesome ,
In this video, we'll show you how to fix steering problems on your Outcast 4s v2. If you're experiencing issues with your steering, don't worry - we've got you covered! But first, we want to give credit where credit is due. We sought advice from our friend Andrew "Rusty" Casey and our favorite KZread creator and channel, Pete Wylie RC. We took their advice and adapted it to make it our own, and we're excited to share our solution with you.
To fix the steering on our Outcast 4s v2, we used a Desservo DS3235 Pro servo and a Kimbrough Products Large Gas Black Servo Saver (part number #KP124). You'll also need a 2mm and 2.5 hex driver, loctite, and a dremel. We'll walk you through the steps we took to fix our steering, so you can do it too.

I had it that way in the beginning too, but then I installed ONLY the Kimbrought spring without the little plastic tips on the ends into the original Arrma servo saver with the original Arrma plastic tips. This is even better than just installing the Kimbrought

@@ChriswithaCrc I bought the ARRMA 4S KRATON , the red one same as yours…. because red goes faster right ? 😂 had a good sale here in OZ, so had to bite the bullet. Should be arriving next Tuesday, can’t wait 😜 Look forward to your future videos and keeping the KRATON in good shape 😬👍
Hey top work Chris and thanks for the mention. Hope this ends up being a robust fix to the issue. As you know I broke my Kimbrough saver and went straight to the metal one so I didn't get to test it. I'm sure you'll notice the improvement. Cheers mate 😁👍👍

Hey there pete ! , Awww dont be daft you nutter ive aspired to be like your channel , im a big fan of it for sure . Yes well i ran it with the upgraded servo and the Kimbourgh and fair shout does seem to be working well , im going to keep an beady eye on it and keep reporting back asap . Been using the Kimbrough KP124 HD servo saver for a few years now on a number of cars, they are a good price for a servo saver with a strong spring.

Hi mate! I just got my 2 outcast 4s motors back from warranty. I installed the Hot Racing Servo saver which is easy to install and so far strong steering. Fitted with a 9imod 35kg servo. I noticed that the outcast wants to go straight hittings bumps with the stock servo saver

Hey buddy , Thanks for getting back to me , i was wondering how it went , Happy with the outcome ? Oh i was talking about the Hot racing servo saver to a friend earlier today , so much better ? , and the 9iMod whats the speed on them like as i do like a quick servo to be fair ? Yeah the stock servo saver is a real pain from time to time isnt it , as i said in the video i didnt really have many issues with mine , maybe im lucky but i know others cant stand it . Hey man , sorry for the late reply as I’ve been bashing and recording . Yes the 4s trucks both have the same layout , but honestly it’s a easy fix for sure . Cheap and cheerful makes all the difference. Hope this was helpful , Stay awesome Chris 🤙👌🤘💪😎🚀

@ChriswithaCrc Sweet! I ended up ordering the bronze one with 4s from modelsport last night after watching so many videos I feel the outcast looks like the most fun to drive how it just wheelies and flips so well haha, can't wait to try it out!! 🤙🤙
When you was out side doing your rc car and driving it what happend to it did you lost something for it or was it the motor dreaking down what happend to it also was it this rc car you hade out or was it the other one 🤔

Hiya , i was juts testing out some upgrades i had done to my trucks and yeah it was two of them i brought out . Nothing wrong with them i just like to upgrade everything ! thats what the channel is built on really . Glad your having fun with you Jumpshot there a awesome little truck to be fair .
