Great outcome. I can just see "Making Stuff" emblazoned on the sides of the jet boat.
That thing is awesome!
Nice job on the build. You might want to use a USCG approved flame arrestor instead of an air filter.

It was in the floor of the boat. They are required here in TN also.
Looks like it works perfectly! Well done

That's awesome and it looks great too! It's so small, I could almost imagine some sort of boat trailer system that's in the bed of the truck. Almost time to break out the personal track vehicle for some fun in the snow.

Nothing broke, nothing fell off and the boat didn't sink! Hope you like the video!

Alsome build man..
@3:12 Is that the Wisconsin Dells? Very pretty area!
Bob thanks for all the great videos. I have a question on a previous build you did. You had mentioned on the track vehicle you would have enjoyed building it with a hydraulic motor system. If you don’t mind could you please maybe list the parts you would have used for that build? I’m having a lot of trouble finding the right size motors that would give speed and GPM ratio for a reservoir tank. Your input would mean a lot. Thank you again!
Is this the 12ft version?
Awesome! Congrats man! Hey, was that the Elk? I think I recognized that parking lot.

@MakingStuff Oh ok, we did a small part of the Duck this past year on our big trip. I have a video of it on my page. Jeremy, the guy who cut/resplined your drive shaft was with us. Whenever you get that thing fully done, hit us up! We're always looking for more folks to ride with!

@@finleycly I took it out for 3 hours this weekend to get the motor broke in. Yeah, Jeremey has helped me a lot on this project. He said there was a group going this weekend but I can't make it.

@MakingStuff Well maybe next time! I've enjoyed watching you build it. I'm chomping at the bit to build another one myself.
I'm not gonna lie... Two things come to mind. For some reason, your boat looks a little larger than the one or two other of these types of boats I've seent on youtube lately. Not saying that's good or bad, just an observation. Number two...... I can't help myself, but to think about the spare '06 GM L33 "LS" aluminum 5.3 V8 chillin in my garage sitting in one of these boats with a big azz turbo hanging off it......

It's a 12 ft Bucanneer not sure if Jetstream has made changes since I purchased the kit.
Spoiler: "Nothing broke. Nothing fell off. The boat didn't sink!" The money shot: 2:47
How much to build it?
