I love my Oura ring! So much more comfortable than smart watches/bands. Plus it tackles a more holistic and wellness approach compared to other smart devices, which is better for activity. The cycle tracking and battery life is super awesome! And another interesting thing is it detects illness before you feel anything. Also, it was very accurate when it comes on tracking my sleep. You can actually protect its beauty without sacrificing biometrics and comfort with an OSleeve.

Thanks, that’s a really through review. I’m thinking about getting one, I have previously used titbits but they are such overpriced rubbish & constantly need charging.

that ring looks a little big for you, i see a gap when you make a fist. what is your impression on the choice of your size?

What should I do if it doesn't ship to my country?

Sorry for the late response! The ring that you see is the black version. I haven't actually seen the stealth in person. I'm overall satisfied as they deliver what I expected (a good sleep tracker) but I still believe they can improve it by providing more actionable insights (what should you do to improve sleep). I used to wear it all day but after a while, I only wore it while I sleep. I'm not sure if it affects the data since there's no data provided during the day. Overall, it's pretty comfortable (just like any other ring) and it works better than wearing something on my wrist while I sleep. Hope that helps!

Far more slippery and larger with actual ring than the sizing kit. I may go down a size but Im scared of paying the duty tax again

Does it also work for the thumb?

is the real one tighter than the fitting kit ones? Or is it exactly the same? Or more loose? Because I wear size 9 for a day now and it’s a little tight. And 10 is too loose.

I’m a Oura ring newbie and might return for different size. Reason is sizer #7 fit perfectly . Actual Oura #7 is a bit looser. When I make a fist the actual ring has a slight gap the sizer didn’t. Not sure why have this #%#%#%*🤬 sizing kit when it’s smaller than the ring! So might return. Good luck to you☺️.

The Oura ring site states that the actual Oura ring will feel a little looser than the kit rings because of the difference in materials they're made of. They say the kit rings have a stickier feel, which was definitely my impression as well. Having said that, though, I think my actual size 8 actual ring IS a tiny bit larger than my size 8 kit ring. I'm considering exchanging it for a 7.

I wore mine for a few days as well before ordering. I still haven't gotten around to posting my long term review. But what I'm finding is that it is lacking actionable feedback. It's still the best form factor vs. wearing a wrist tracker to sleep.

When you make a fist, you’re not supposed to have a gap between your finger and the ring.

The actual ring looked so different from the rings in the sizing kit... Was the actual Oura Ring herritage black as well?

Yes, the sizing kit is definitely meant for sizing only. I got the heritage black and the actual ring was a little shinier compared to the sizing ring.

I really like the form factor and battery life has still been pretty great for my Oura Ring. The app is informative but I would like a little bit more actionable insights from Oura with all the data that they're collecting. Overall a solid purchase if you're looking to get more into sleep tracking and optimization!

Looks like Oura rings have serious battery issues. My ring stop holding the charge and became useless just after the warranty expires. If you are not willing to buy a new ring (almost 400$) every two years, think before buying one.

I haven't had battery issues to the extent that it stopped holding my charge. But I did notice that battery life has degraded from 7 days to around 2-3 days. I'm just using it as a sleep tracker instead of a general activity tracker, so I might just keep it at my bedside and just wear it for sleep. Sorry to hear that yours has been giving you issues...

It's best to recharge at 20% remaining for best battery life, letting it die makes the battery worse

@@anches19 I ended up getting the 13 and it fits perfect. I wear it on my middle finger and 12 ended up being too small, so I went with the 13. The actual sizing is actually slightly bigger than the demo and it's a lot more slippery.

@@440DECA One thing to take into account is how much your fingers swell up after excercise. I ended up getting the larger size because of that and it fits perfectly.

Same issue: 10 is a bit too snug on my index finger and 11 is maybe somewhat loose, but I never wear rings so I’m unsure what it should fit like overall

I haven't had any issues with the Ring not recording data. I would send them an email to see if maybe you have a defective ring. Their customer service was pretty good when I reached out to them about any problems. Hope that helps!
