I was looking at the Oura ring but I wish it had some small vibrating mechanism that could be used as an alarm to wake you up in the morning. That's why I like to sleep with the apple watch, since it can wake me up by the vibrations and my partner can continue sleeping (or if you travel a lot and sleep in hostels)

Does this compliment the Apple watch? As in can you use for example the GPS location from the apple watch instead of your iphone so you can leave the phone behind and still get data from the GPS of the apple watch?

I am trying to decide which style I like better. Is one more comfortable then the other?

Do not buy this. My Oura gen 3 is tracking my driving as steps. Oura’s response was “a small amount” of rings do this even if you are in a car that is idling because it may pick up vibrations. They actually told me to put it in my pocket. Oura will not allow me to replace my defective ring with a new one because when my wife bought it for me for Christmas she didn’t know what size to buy so I had to exchange it. Come to find out Oura only allows you to return/exchange once. So I now own a $400 ring that doesn’t work right and Oura refuses to help.

So I've been very active with my Apple Watch for years and have started sleeping with it since this fall - I use AutoSleep, that tracks sleep pretty accurately - This seems to be a nice ring, but does it really add anything?

What do you think of the new sleep staging algorithm that Oura just debuted in the app (in beta for the time being)?

when you use your apple watch to workout and it gets imported into oura, does it show the graph with the intensity and different heart rate ranges during your workout?

I noticed that the workout information on the heritage compared to the Apple Watch is pretty darn close. Does that mean, we’re able to or getting close to using the Ring as a stand alone activity tracker?

Do you think its still worth buying going into 2023? has anyone heard any word on a 4?

Hi I want to know if the app notification can make the ring vibrate? like whatsapp, messenger, slack push notification...

can you use any of the devices without the monthly service plan?

I'll be on the Oura ring for 3 years this Feb. Love it but don't think the new features are revolutionary, and I would definitely think twice if I wasn't grandfathered into the free subscription. The next step up for Gen4 would be a haptic motor to wake you up after a sleep cycle. Who knows, 2023/4?

I’m about to buy one. In your experience, has fitting been as important as I think it is? Personally, I’m struggling to decide whether to go for the Size 9, which fits perfectly my non-dominant index finger (the one I’m planning on using it on), but doesn’t fit any other finger on either hands. Or go for a Size 10, which fits perfectly my dominant index finger, but is a bit loose on the other one, and it might not be as accurate. I hope you can help me decide! Thank you!

Do you still think wearing Oura is helpful even after getting Apple watch ultra as your primary fitness tracker? As you mentioned in the video, I feel like Oura data's less accurate because how our finger size changes throughout the day.

Half ring-sizes would be really great. I need 12.5...

14 months and the ring won't hold a charge. Oura support has improved over the last year but is still pretty bad. My ring accuracy still lacks My wife's ring version 3 is a little over a year old and no longer holds a charge it goes from 100% at 9:00 p.m. in the evening to 0 by morning. Supports advice was to buy another ring we're going to wait for Samsung's product to come out and or go back to whoop for much better data.

Did the Oura Ring Horizon Review (Gen 3) stop your snoring?

I have the gen 3 Heritage in stealth, and the round Horizon seems like a downgrade for an extra $50.
