So you don't have any concern over how this data could be used? For example, it might be used to deny you insurance. Or it could be used to deny employment. Or make it impossible to buy or rent because lenders think your health isn't good enough to pay on time? Maybe they start drafting people and want to draft those who are already in good shape? Or some rich person needs an organ transplant and they're looking for the best donor.

Since I had the misfortune of ordering the wrong size and needed to exchange it, Oura now refuses to accept a return of a ring that’s not working. In multiple emails they have not asked what the problem is to try to help fix it. 😢 There’s nowhere to leave a review.

What if my ring was blinking blue for 24hrs of being on the charger? Is the battery on it defective? It never stopped blinking and when I connected it to the app it showed as 60%-80% charged.

With 2 watches and a ring do you find a lot of redundancy? I want to ditch the Apple Watch and replace it with an Oura ring potentially

I don't know if you already got the ring. But between the watch and the ring, I'd say the ring Is more accurate tracking your steps and work outs. It also seems to do more. The only thing about the watch I like more is it gives you a heart rate. The ring takes a second and doesn't give you it. Just an average.

have a doubt can we wear it in water like during bathing , swimming as it has batteries inside any chance of exploding or burning or blast please let me know as i need to buy one this is bugging me a lot

At least on the Website it says up to 100m water resistant. Shure the batteries can explode, but even your smartphone is more dangerous imo

Do I have to have a watch? I was actually planning to get rid of my Apple Watch and only use the oura ring. I don’t like things on my wrist.

350$ with monthly payments . I think this is outrageous amount of money ! For a ring . 200$ sound more normalfor this kind of gadget . Its almost apple 9s price (include 140$ more for 2 years of use )

the biggest drawback to me, is that you have to have a membership to access full function, that is just rediculous

Don’t waste your money on this thing. The company engages in deceptive trade practices. After you buy the ring - try to use it. “Oh, we forgot to tell you. You have to sign up for a membership so we can bang your credit card every month.” No thanks. Back it goes.

You only get a free lifetime subscription if you’re one of the ‘original’ users (pre-Oura ring 3) If you are new to the company and bought a ring post 2022 then you have to pay for a monthly subscription
