I m from Lahore. Although in Pakistan most people travel by road as distances are short except North South. In India since decades railway is organised and biggest communication mean. Vande Bharat is a nice addition. India is lucky to have loyal , patriot and hardworking leaders. 😊

Vande Bharat isn't a luxurious train , it's a pleasant semi high speed train indeed But India has got various luxurious trains like Maharaja express , Palace on Wheels, The Golden chariot , Deccan Odyssey etc. which costs about 10k to 25k USD per person.

@@OTWD_yt Vande Bharat is very popular with stats showing 96.5% occupancy in the last year.. It's better to book tickets 15-20 days prior... Alternatively you can book Tatkal tickets(one day prior) wherein you can get seats at a slightly higher price.
A little suggestion please visit ladakh and jammu and kashmir, shimla in Himachal pardesh u will like these places also and thanks to be our guest in India. We Indians hope u have great time during the exploration of our culture

This is not a luxury train. Its a modern semi high speed train. Luxury trains include Maharaja's Express, Palace On Wheels, The Golden Chariot, Deccan Odysey and a few others. Oh if you would prefer the toy trains you can take the one from Kalka to Shimla or the Darjeeling steam one. While you are here, considering that its almost summer in this part of the world, I would recommend that you head to the Himalayas especially the Sikkim and the North East side or to Ladakh and Leh side.

Celebrate holi in the smaller towns (UP, Delhi, Bihar are too overwhelming even for many Indians). Best places will be North India, but the smaller cities e.g. in Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Punjab Or Rajasthan. There you will also get many like minded friends and the experiences will be wonderful. These are also super safe places (because these places comprise mostly of locals and not migrants) so you can be more carefree and the people are generally Foreigner friendly.

It's not luxurious but normal premium chair car or kinda European standards. Some of the luxurious trains not just in India but also in the world, are Maharaja Express, Deccan Odyssey, Rajasthan on wheels, Palace on wheels, Orient express, Fairy Queen etc.. some others.

Amritsar is one of the colder place during winters on indian plains. I don't know but it must be because of its geography. Temperature goes below 0 in peak winters there.

Vande Bharat is semi High speed train which runs on avg 130 km per hr due to current railway tracks...now government is replacing the tracks with high speed tracks and vande Bharat Will run at the speed of 200km/hr and luxury trains are Tejas rajdhani and maharaja etc

Just a tip: Whenever you are in doubt about cost of your rides just ask any local (everyone will be happy to help) for a fair price and then negotiate around that price with the driver or simply check Ola/Uber and you will get idea.

We have been lagging since 75 years of independence...all credits go to previous weak politicians..and Of course our development is lagging due to Brutal british colony till 1947..India was called "Golden Bird" before the colony...Ok but now we are recovering from it..but with more challenges of the over population..💪💪

Looking at the video, it feels like the station needs a much bigger premium lounge, even bigger budget lounge area and is in desperate need of an organised seating area as well as consistent vigit to to stop random crowd sitting and laying down on the floor in the busy comcourse meant for quick and hassle free passing by walk. Indian long distance terminals and junctions such as this one need to do away with crowding of travelers on olatforms way before the train arrives that adds to the chaos, with proper measures of restricted entries and fast vacation after disboarding a train.
