The pudding or the butternut squash (as Dan calls it) is actually an Indian dessert known as Sheera (Marathi) or Sooji ka Halwa (Hindi) made with lots of Ghee (highly-clarified butter), Sooji (Semolina), Sugar and Yellow/Orange food coloring. Sometimes you get it with added dry fruits and nuts like raisins, almonds, cashews, etc. It is the most consumed dessert item in India's Northern, North-Western, South-Western, Central & North-Eastern belts. You guys have become my fav vlogger couple in the short span of time I have known you you on YT. The way you present content, blend in, try to dissect the dishes, savories and drinks you taste in our country for the first time particularly is interesting. Never been a Tejas Express but glad you guys have had a wonderful experience, and hope you guys did in South Goa too. I live in Margao, less than 2 kms from the Railway station you guys got down. If you guys are still here, do not forget to visit Chandor, and the ancestral/ heritage homes there and the archaeological temple site, then the museums of Goa Chitra, Goa Chakra and Goa Curti - all at one place in Benaulim, Big Foot and Casa Araujo, Figueredo Heritage House in Loutolim, then further South Cabo De Rama, Cola Beach, Kakolem Beach (Hidden Gem), Palolem Beach, and to Butterfly Beach (not by boat but by land - through a short forested trek)
