In our 3 star hotels there are 3 bathrooms and very big bed where 4 people can sleep And AC and TV is also there. In the first toilet there is Indian toilet seat in 2nd bathroom western toilet seat is there and 3 Rd bathroom is for bath. This much facilities are given in our 3 star hotels just only for 15 or 20 thousand Rupees in dollars if I am not mistaken it is for 15 or 20 dollars 😎😋😎😎😎😋😋

Being a Ex-Employee of Serena and beng part of FRONT OFFICE TEAM and seeing my ex colleagues standing clueless and have no idea what they are doing it gives me immense disappointment, don't know where are seniors at the peak time??? It was CHECK IN time and no senior was there to help juniors! That lady was ex colleague of mine and seeing her like that was extreme disappointment!!! Don't know where are GUEST SERVICES Team! Really have no idea what is going on in Serena! Well, while concluding i would say that you have given best review and when seniors were not there things like that would happen!!! Serena Management is sleeping Head office is sleeping let them sleep and let them earn money as much as they can, they don't care about their employees and staff at all. Well guys what when it's your first month they make you stand in front office to deal with guests, reason because they can't treat their employees well so every second person leave! Cheers

Pakistani here, serena is not a good choice for any cities here. if you wanna experience much better 5 star hotels for even cheaper, you should book avari or PC hotels as they are top-class. hope this helps, thank you for your honest review!!

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times and I always found the standards 'world class'. I am really surprised by your experience as in my opinion it's a really good hotel with top of the line facilities, hospitable staff and food quality. Further more, $300 per night is another surprising element and I paid less than $175 for Executive room, a few days back.

I stayed on Multiple REAL 5 star hotels all over the world..and this hotel had nothing to do with 5 stars.. internationally is a 3 star hotel if im nice. the owners clearly dont understand what a 5 star rating is and what it means in terms of room, cleanliness, service and experience

That's what I noticed first hand. I have seen countless memes mocking their cricket team's lack of fluency in English. I just thought those were just trolling and one language doesn't really defines someone's calibre. But the workers at 5-star Hotel are people supposed to be trained in Hotel Management, right ? Where I'm from English or at least being bi-lingual is must for Hotel management courses. The lady at High-Tea spoke manageable English at best.

My trip to China where I stayed at Marriott in Shanghai. They could find exactly one person (and he was the most proficient) who spoke English. And we were laughing our asses off after talking to him in English. Well, English may not be a requisite, but the hotel was awesomest (if that's even a word). Their attention to detail and customer centric behavior.. just blew our minds. Made us feel so much at home, without us knowing any thing Mandarin!! So, regardless of English, this five-star hotel has nothing to offer than fleecing people with a certain brand!! May be that's Pakistani standard!!

The reason why most of the food is just "bland" is the fact that it's supposed to be more of like a comforting vibe to the people who come here from outer countries. Usually, most people aren't that content with oily or really spicy food, so it's more of the appeal they give. Although.. the hotel mainly does serve a cultural vibe, it's more on the colourless side.

As a Pakistani, I Agree with Chris Honest's Vlog The whole system depends on the incompetence of the government and the system not being stable and it is common for the people of Pakistan. Every country has its own ways of living but I was saddened to see the comments saying how small-minded Indians are and they are making themselves proud by saying negative things in a good and true video. Of course, there will be good restaurants in India and even better than in Pakistan, but being suspicious of other people's faults shows humanity and good morals.

As a Pakistani i thought chris would give his honest opinion but i feel like he was little biased. I dont think that for 300 thats mostly 3 months salary of an average person gives you that out dated room? I mean chris like you said room looks fine but rather sleep in an old farmer shed than paying that much on a so called 5 star. They just claim they’re 5 star but they’re not. Im not happy with how the service was, ppl at the checkout counter seems to ignore you for 20 mins even after you made a reservation? Than proceeds to give you a room randomly? Make sure this video reaches everywhere do they run out of business

This is like an ordinary 3* hotel room in India, just the room size is bit bigger, rest all the same. You can get it fir 3-6000 in here

If you really wanna start getting fancy, try hotels that cost nearly ₹20,000, that is- when no festival is near, the same hotel might even icrease the price to 6 figures during festivals or major holiday times. Overall, the average and cheap hotels in India are way better.

But I guess most places with $30 will give better amenities & room in comparison to this hotel & my god the attitude of hotel staff is just bad! Serena hotels are owned by prince Kareem agha ....Google him and it's international chain....they follow strict international standards all over the world...I have been to India and saw people defecating on railway tracks for lack of toilets....saw people sleeping on footpaths and jostling for space....during COVID pandemic people were thrown into river Ganga because they couldn't afford wooden pyres...slums of Delhi and Mumbai were huge

Pakistanis hotels sucks. I am Pakistani but living in america. I was in islamabad and stayed in the best hotels all of them sucks. The most important no manners when it comes to cigarettes. Wveryone just stand at any pount and start smoking and I hate that. I was nearly to F everyone. Second hand smoking is more dangerous. If you think this is bad, go to India.. this would be considered a 7 star hotel in a ghetto like Delhi. Just google daryaganj hotels.. rats, poop, insects everywhere.. even the 5 star hotels have squat toilet with "mugs" for you to go native.

At 15:15 the guy came to offer an evening turn-down service. He was not just randomly checking on you for talking on your phone. He'll go and ask each room which is occupied.

People in comments saying that "better than indian hotels" should lookout to oberoi udaivilas hotel,ITC narmada hotels, taj skyline, taj mahal hotel,trident hotels. 😅 these hotel's are one of the best hotels in whole world.

The most dissapointing part of the hotel here was the staff! Food can be shitty, rooms can be small, but atleast you can clean the premises properly. Atleast you can make the guest feel welcome. But unfortunately none of that done and this was an experience of a foreigner, they would treat locals even worse. Sad

Wow, im glad I saw this. I'm planning a trip to PK in October & the Serena was on the shortlist of hotels I was looking at. I'll give this place a miss.
